Buatsi's a class act. No top British Light Heavy wants him. I know Ricky Summers turned down very good money to fight him last year and I hear Hosea Burton too.
    He'll hammer Bolotniks inside 6.

Well, cos pro boxing is only entertainment business and nothing more per se, guys, don't be delusional about reality, most likely eddie thinks the same.

In longer run, if as predicted, Bolotniks will loss ( no one big player needs him in big business, I think ) he still will get some fights and will earn some money. Actually he choosed damn wrong profession: it is not good to be a pro boxer from small country and nation. Guy should had picked another profession, not from proper country and with this all is done already.

If Buatsi will win, eddie will manage him fight vs Bivol or someone else and if opponent will not KO him, he will win.
Then Buatsi might become enough usable to give him to Canelo fight with. Eddie might earn with this damn a lot.
Maybe use Buatsi in another kind.
If Buatsi will not win, most likely clauses will appear like Whyte vs Povetkin and like this.

IMO Buatsi is legit, and will be one of the few Brits who can mix it with the elites
Josh Taylor for example gets slaughtered by a real p4p fighter he is just in a weak division.
If he fights Tank or the 135 big guns (not including Haney who sucks) he gets belted
If he fights an elite 147lber he gets retired.

Hearn may or may not call the shots, maybe Buatsi wants a long career and is pacing himself.
If he was a Warren fighter he would not get half the stick tbh.

Buatsi is the best brit lightheavy hands down imo

I agree that buatsi is an amazing talent but the way he’s been handled smells a bit fishy to me. They talked about him fighting for the ebu years ago and instead he fought blown up super middles like pereban. When really I’d have preferred to see him in with Richards or yarde.

Bolotniks is the perfect opponent right now though as he will definitely land on buatsis chin at some point

The problem in Bolotniks evaluation most likely is his fight record.
If looking more in depth, then it is easy to see why this is what this is.
Looks that initially he had been managed like with casual EE journeymans career part.
Fight in local small club level show ( imagine what level of boxers they might afford to book? ) and after this fight vs prospect in Germany.
Then again cycle looks that had repeated: fight in small club level show and after this in U.K vs prospect.
After this fight vs some journeyman and then fight in Canada vs local boxer, Bolotniks gets a draw in Canada.
Next: fight vs some guy and after this vs boxer from France in France, nothing surprising that he had lost on cards in France.

Looks like casual flowchart for these journeymans.

Then looks that he maybe had changed his manager or agent? At lest further fights records suggest to think like this.
The matchup Prusak vs Bolotniks was brilliant, this fight was damn watchable stuff. Prusak then had 8-0-0 ( 8KOs) record and he really punches very hard. Otherwise nothing special besides that he is going to take head off asap and packed power.
Bolotniks looked vs him more watchable than any Dorticos or Briedis pro fight, damn. I lurked again, stuff more watchable than Briedis vs Glowacki, Charr or Dorticos vs Tabiti or Gassiev.

CW boxers Bolotniks had: Cordoba, looks that had been at least natural 187 lbs for weight ins, nothing well known in pro boxing. Former K-1 and Oriental rules KBer, then had 11-1 pro boxing record ( 9 KOs ) and looks that his listed KB record 50-1-2 with 41 wins via stoppages. I suspect that he hits harder than Bolotniks. Bolotniks finished him in 1 round.
Cordoba does not looks pro box star at all, still little doubts that he might stop LHW boxer i had landed properly.

Nielsen was top20-25 cruiserweight with 24-1 pro record, german show, team sauerland boxer. Bolotniks lost via split decision on cards.
Nielsen never had been stopped in pro ring.

Mchunu fight: Mchunu I think is far better than even 35 y.o Durodola, not alone current 40 y.o Durodola version like vs Makabu and he won 4 rounds vs Bolotniks, lost 5 th round vs Bolotniks and fooled Bolotniks in 6 th round.

Gasanov and Ekimov, I really suspect hits harder than Ward or Burton, while most likely Gasanov hits harder than Michel, Burton and Ward.

Dunno that Bolotniks might outbox Buatsi but to stop him will not be easy task. It was not easy even for Mchunu, when Mchunu boxed to win rounds, he dominated more smoothly vs Bolotniks. There if also bear in mind that Mchunu is not old and is large CW division boxer.
    Then this MTK tournament.

Well, I think that all boxers Tank had beated up might had get beated up also by Taylor. Why not?
While Spence Jr and Crawford are too large not only for Taylor but also for Tank and both of them most likely will finish Tank in distance if they will fight. these are really large for 147 lbs division dudes.

Who at 135 lbs Tank had beated up?
He did not had boxed with any boxer who does have Linares and Campbell, Garcia level power for sure.
Gamboa 38 y.o shot ghost? Gamboa was good boxer but this old version does not looks that might now beat any top 5 135 lbs boxer. most likely even Loma who is too small for 135 lbs division had finished Gamboa version that Tank had in the ring. Also we should not forget that Lopez by himself had told that he thinks Loma is too small for 135 lbs division and he is more suitable for 126, 130 lbs. Anyone is able to google this in 1-5 seconds.

I do not see enough proofs that Tank might be KO artist at 135 lbs not alone 140 lbs division.
Maybe, still not enough proofs at 135 lbs.

Is Surrix more than one person? It's really strange reading one post that looks like it was notes taken from a Borat interview and then a couple of posts down it's all absolute free flowing perfect English.

I’m glad you made that comment and it wasn’t just me. I half could understand what he was talking about and half not.

A bloke who I grew up with (completely English) put something on facebook about a “bike tried being pinched” which I understood that someone had tried to steal a bike but that could conceivably be typed by someone whom doesn’t have english as their first language.

I think Bolotniks had proved himself as legit top 20-25 by Cruiserweight criteria boxer, doesn't matters german cards in german show vs sauerlands boxer.

While I think he is a bit over ranked by some boxing orgs, he should have some 1-2 step up fights to be ranked so highly like he today is in WBA rankings.

After 1 st round Buatsi will see damn big difference between this and Calic or Ford with a glance.
Then I think he will box to win on points all fight. Lesser risk, am boxing exp advantage is on Buatsi side and this is legit thing not fake there.

Bolotniks is not a big light heavyweight. He is quite clearly pumped up. A big boxer at any weight is one who is not pumped up and is naturally heavy at any respective weight despite looking flat. Look at Kovalev.

People get this wrong all the time.
