    Right now Canelo. His resume is the deepest but he's had a lot of close fights over the years, in terms of actual ability he not so clearly on top. If the others add to their resumes he could be surpassed. Not sure if he'll go down as the best fighter of his generation.

    P4P is a load of hypothetical nonsense, or at least should be renamed to something like "most accomplished fighter today"

    Wasn't too long ago Crawford was number 1. Then everyone realized he didn't want to fight top competition and he got mooted. Loma was there, then he poo'd his pants and got sonned by young Lopez. Now it's supposedly Canelo in till he fails another drug test.

    Why Canelo right now ? Just because he beat Yldirim and BJS ? Or what he did in this past year to put him in #1 position ?
