Oh please, whenever someone retires is always because “they were ducking someone”

It's up to Loma to put himself back into position. If every close fight required a rematch, we'd have a ton of guys fighting 3-4 times. If someone loses a close fight, well, too bad. Maybe next time. Until then, there will be other top contenders waiting their turn.

Poor comparison. Loma won rounds 2 and 6 yet was robbed of them by judges who think punching elbows and gloves are scoring punches. Loma objectively outlanded Lopez in these rounds. 2,6,7,8,9,10, 11 to Loma..

Round 12 showed Lopez has some fight in him and I'll give him that.. The other rounds however Lopez was following Loma around landing next to minimal apart from the occasional jab and right hand to Lomas midsection whilst he was retreating.

So not really a fair comparison.

Lopez won this more in relation to Lomas inactivity. Also, Lopez is a weight bully and relied purely on his size for the fight

It is all business. Lopez is the champ and he calls the shots. Its what is best for his pocket book. Maybe Loma will get a rematch at 140 lbs.

If Fury didn’t have drug, diet and mental issues, he did a great job convincing everyone. Getting to over 400lbs was pretty convincing to me and a lot of effort to get out of fighting a guy he already beat. Not surprised to see this kind of logic coming from the likes of you, after reading many of your idiotic statements. When you went to school, did you ride on a bus that was a bit shorter than the one that picked up the other kids?

The rematch didn't happen plain and simple. He beat Wlad the biggest win of his career and suddenly he goes on a self destructive binge? And you believe that? I'll be waiting for you at the little yellow bus stop buddy, don't forget your helmet. LOL At the end of the day Fury made a conscious decision to not train, sit on his ass, eat drink and snort coke until he was over 400lbs and Vlad was good and retired.

    Bump
After dismantling Nakatani Loma is indeed right smack back in the rematch conversation, and Lopez's father promised a rematch.
Does the rematch promise change the polling on this?

He will duck the rematch because there will be no belts on the line after he loses to Kambosos.

Should've had a rematch clause in place then. I'd rather see Loma vs Tank.
