Exactly. When Canelo fought Kovalev his haters said Canelo was to chicken to fight Beterbiev... fast forward to a year and a half later and now Canelo is bullying a helpless old man
If you seriously think Beterbiev is more talented or experienced than Canelo, you might want to watch a different sport, because boxing isn't for you.
He wants to go up another weight class to face the top ranked guy there. What on earth is the fuss? Btw Bivol looked quite average in his last outing as well, so I don't see how he all of a sudden became the guy to face at LHW.
You won't don't have to look that far ahead. Beterbiev is going to wreck your boy. Bookmark this and quote me on this when it happens.
Canelo's not 'mastered' his stamina he throws forty punches a round and has still faded late on multiple occasions. So now it's strength and power?
More suitable modern pro boxing is for you not for real ppl. Talks about talent are fun. Experience, I really wish to see prime Usyk and Kovalev vs Clenelo LOL. Canelo for me had lost vs Lara too, ate this and call me as a hater, Clenbuterol hater, I had scored this fight for Lara. Die in forums here by fighting vs me. LOL.
No one has said Beter is being picked on my Canelo, or that he's helpless. Where do you come up with this crap? What a douchey drama queen you are....
Everyone does knows that clenbuterol champ does cherry pick with a glance and that Floyd Jr. and GGG are his dads in the ring. Cards for clenbuterol champ? Sorry? For me 1 belt he does have: hometown belt. Nothing more. This content is protected
One more thing to ponder; Is Canelo hitting harder now than he was at 160lbs? I doubt it. Power doesn't necessarily travel up like people think it does. Skill and ring IQ travel up and can be too much for bigger and slower guys with less ring craft but their power is often more than yours if you are the smaller guy. Example; if Amir Khan moved upto 160lbs would his power be the match of regular Middlweights or would it stay the same as it was at 147lbs? Similarly to Saunders, if he went to 175lbs, is he punching the same as he was at Middleweight or does he now suddenly have the power of a 175lb fighter? There is a physical cap on how much your body can generate. Canelo thus has to rely on well timed power punches and set his feet and come forward. I saw in the Saunders fight that as soon as he clinched or went backwards his stylistic and "power" advantage was negated. If Canelo is backing up against Beterbiev his advantages are negated. If he is in a clinch he is going to get rag dolled and pushed back. Now the question is; can Beterbiev be hurt by a guy who has middlweight power in reality? Sure, Canelo is a GREAT puncher, but does he has enough power to hurt Beterbiev? Hell, he never really hurt Callum Smith - a guy he kept countering all fight and coming forward against. Yes he schooled him, but he never HURT him. And this was a big stationary target in front of him. Pleas be realistic about Canelo's abilities here.
Looks that he was WW and LWW boxer who was not able to finish his opponents in his last 4 fights. Excellent cherry picking for clenelo to defend MW title in murica.
I can't really remember who his resume consists of, if that's any indication. I'm just basing my opinion on the eyeball which is completely fallible. Would that we could have Beterbiev vs Canelo and Bivol vs Benevidez at LH with the 2 winners in an epic showdown.
Absolutely he has. If you can't see it I don't know what to tell you. And the amount of punches he throws is irrelevant. Canelo is not a wielding caveman throwing a million punches a round hoping one lands. He is precise, calculated, and extremely effective. Pro boxing is not a competition of who throws more punches, but a competition of whose punches are more effective.
