Preference? I'm going with GGG 3. He's almost 40 but he won't lay down like Plant will. Canelo beating Plant is a given. Even if Plant isn't paid to lose I don't know if he has anything in him to beat Canelo. Canelo is only at 168 because its **** poor division and knows he can be undisputed in it. Canelos wins at 168 - **** poor Callum Smith who didn't come to fight. Short camp, basic style, non existent resume and lost to Ryder. -blown up 160lber BJS who looked mediocre in his last 3 fights at 168, became the "champ" after beating Isufi and hadnt actually beaten anyone world level since 2017. - and likely soon to be the not so slick "slickster" Plant Canelo sure is fighting the best though no doubt about it. He just needs to forget useless Plant and add more to his legacy by losing and getting a gift over Grandpa GGG
1) Plant. 2) David Benavidez. 3) GGG /Charlo @ 168. 4) Bivol/ Beterbiev @ 175. If he's gonna attempt to go UD at 168 he's should actually clear the division out.
GGG - Canelo III should be the fight, though all signs point to Plant, who arguably has a belt Canelo wants.
Lol so why didn't Gzgzg move up if it's such an easy division to become undisputed actually how come no middle but canelo moved up?
rather see him vs plant. GGG has gotten older and declining abit.. and even so i dont want to see GGG robbed for the 3rd time.
I thin Golovkin has enough left in the tank to give him a harder fight than Plant. Plant has nothing in his game that I see that would bother Canelo. He'll get battered.
Yep altho GGG is getting on the first two fights were epic, enjoyable and skillful af. Canelo Plant wouldn't be the same in terms of it being a technical fight.. It'd just be a boring one sided beat down like most of Canelo's recent fights (bar BJS Canelo which was v enjoyable although its so disappointing how it ended with an injury )
I understand why he wants Plant, and that is a win over Plant will make him undisputed and is more than likely an easy fight. As for Canelo and GGG? Why would Canelo put himself through that kind of misery in a fight he is expected to win, but has a chance of losing. Nobody tests Canelos inner reserves like GGG.
Plant, by a mile. I'm actually surprised anyone wants to see GGG move up and face a bigger, younger, fresher opponent. GGG should be facing Charlo, not Canelo.
GGG is ,& always has been, a 160 pound Middleweight Ginger moved up because the roiding put weight on him to get the easy pickings. Ginger will never give GGG an honest straight down the middle fight, he's scared to
