Which book is better out of these two

The Longest Fight in the Ring With Joe Gans, Boxing's First African American Champion

    or

Battling Nelson, the Durable Dane: World Lightweight Champion, 1882-1954

Side note I am a big fan Nelson

I think that's point Rough, they're both Nelson books.

Why ask us? You have a long life ahead of you. If you are a Nelson fan read them both and form your own opinions. Then go find all the other books, articles, and footage that you can on the topics and read and view them all. Then take a deep breath and see if you have the same opinions as when you started. If you do, then you have probably missed something along the way.

I just finished The Longest Fight, 3 weeks ago. 42 chapters, enjoyed it. About Gans mainly, but apart from the obvious Nelson involvement in the fight, there are several other references to the Dane.
    Haven’t read the other book.
