Not saying he was a limited fighter or anything, but most of Folley's fight were pretty dull and colorless.
Andre Ward is up there for me. Given his talent, he really shouldn’t have been in fights that have you wanting to stick forks in your eyes.
Vic Darchinyan has the weirdest styleI've seen, although he's been in some entertainment fights. Sam Soliman also has an ugly style.
Mayweather was incredibly boring, despite being a brilliant boxer. I don't enjoy watching SRL and Ali either.
Jack Johnson, Jim Braddock, Joe Bugner are all super boring to watch, and not even very skillful. Johnson only looked good when he knocked a guy out, and the only good thing about Braddock and Bugner was they could take a big wallop. You won't see me saying Emile Griffith, Harold Johnson, Carlos Monzon, Ezzard Charles, Eddie Machen, or Zora Folley.
Also, Ernie Terrell is about half-and-half. Not that half of his fights are good and half aren't, cuz he doesn't have that many good fights. It's just that Terrell doesn't look ugly when he's jabbing and honestly fighting inside. It's when he's clinching and mauling that's he's ugly. Also, I would say Jimmy Young was not fun to watch in say Lyle II, but on the other hand, Foreman, Norton, and Ocasio II were great watches.
Manning Galloway was not nicknamed the spoiler for nothing. Dennis Andries was effective, but was his style ugly, even when Steward got hold of him!
