He never beat any of his elite opponents who were anywhere close to there primes so absolutely not. At one time he had elite level skills but no way not even close.
I had to look up what a "goat" was in this context. Google tells me: Synonyms for goat Synonyms: Noun fall guy, scapegoat, whipping boy So... was Tyson the "goat?" I would say sometimes. I don't know what happened in that Indianapolis hotel room. Certain managers & promoters probably didn't help him; they created problems for him and then blamed him. (P.S. - Tyson definitely isn't the "Greatest of All Time," everyone knows that, so I know the OP wasn't asking about that definition of "goat.")
Sadly this normally happens with new members. The opening gambit by some has happened numerous times....I know, no ones ever done Ali V Tyson, I'll post that and become instantly popular. Then I'll post another 8 or 10 random heavyweight threads in quick succession to cement my legend. Ok so this guy isn't that bad but you get my drift. Give him a chance, he may come good.
