Friday night Danny Williams Faces of against John McDermott for the British heavyweight title with the winner rumored to get a world title shot.(what these 2 have done to get a title shot beats me although danny has had some nice wins latley) I think danny Williams wins this one by a KO . whoever the winner is i wonder what champ they get a shot at

It should be a fairly easy win for Danny, but I really don't expect him to get a title shot out of it. It would have to be a total out-of-the-blue Rocky Balboa type of deal, because he's completely off the map on all the boxing orgs at the moment.

Big John's a hard worker but by this point of his career Danny should've been in a different league.

History tells us that whenever Williams is supposed to win, he loses and viceversa. He should run over McDermot and stop him late into the fight, around the 11th I would say, but I can't help but think he will drop a decison.

I heard the rumour, but I can't see any way in which this could be set up in time. His date with Vitali is about 2-and-a-half months away.

Time will tell if I'm wrong but I will be seriously shocked if it happens...just can't see it.

I reckon the fight will go a few rounds. Danny tends to start slow, he'll probably get cooking around the 4th.

I wouldnt't write danny of completely against Sam peter lets hope he gets a shot before Vitali comes back to take the title because there would not be any point in a rematch with Doctor iron fists

The Sam Peter fight won't happen. Peter has just the right amount of time to train, for the formidable Vitali, not to mess about with Danny, who presents a good chance of having to work hard, and a tiny chance of an upset against any but the best heavyweights. I'm not convinced that Peter would make an easy night of it, although of course he might. It's a shame in any case though, I think it's a great idea to go after your opponent's former opponents.

Good stay-active fight after his recent brutal fight. Maybe he could fight David Haye or the winner of Peter/Vitali if he's officially getting a world title shot.
