The Hawk all day. His pressure and volume will wear down Locche. Pryor has arguably one of the greatest gas tanks (alongside Armstrong) ever and he can move and box when needed. I can't see Locche outboxing him for 15 rounds and staying away from the continual onslaught. Pryor has that chin, which won't be in danger this fight. He can come forward and fight at his own pace. Arguello was a massive banger and even he couldn't back Pryor off consistently. Locche with only 15 Kos has the smallest of chances.
Arguello couldn't hurt Pryor enough to dissuade him- because Arguello hurt him numerous times, in both fights- so Locche isn't going to dissuade him with his fists. So it comes down to...can Locche miss him often enough and by far enough that Pryor starts to feel self conscious about throwing punches. Aaron was pretty shameless in that regard. And he could box a bit in his own right and he could shorten his punches. Aaron is also accustomed to imposing himself in a fight. That is the thing in all these fights against very good or great fighters; they are accustomed to imposing their desire and fighting their fight. From what I have seen of him, Locche used subterfuge and cunning to impose his while Pryor...well, you know what he did. I don't believe that Pryor would fall for the Locche con game. Rather, he would ignore the subtleties and punch through them.
I think Locche gets underrated in terms of what he achieved. Very underrated résumé, with only a few real slights. Of my remaining top ten at 140 (so if we consider Locche is one of them, making it nine), he beat a third of them. Cervantes, Perkins and Hernandez. Then throw in Brown, Fuji, Lopopolo, Urbina, Pruitt, etc; and you have a very impressive résumé. One certainly more impressive than Pryor's IMO, if a bit lacking when it comes to a real, great, signature win. However, I tend to think that Locche get overrated head-to-head, rather than underrated in terms of 'greatness'. He doesn't have the style to out-box Pryor, and definitely doesn't have the capacity to hurt him. I think he simply ends up overwhelmed and fighting too defensively. Pryor would just out-hustle and out-muscle him. And Aaron would slaughter Tszyu. He's what you'd get if you smashed Phillips and Hatton together then dialed the crazy up to ten.
Locche would be utterly destroyed Aaron was too fast, delivered from awkward angles, too much fire. I never saw that guy lose a fight.
JCC would be epic., I think Hawk was.too agile and intelligent. He wouldn't allow KT to fight at his range or pace.
I feel like Pryor is the worst kind of style match up for Locche. Locche won't be able to keep Pryor's constant windmill attack off him and I think he would eventually succumb to the Hawk's onslaught. Not to mention that he just doesn't have the speed or power to keep him at bay. Pryor's unorthodox style, attacks from all angles, constant pressure and aggression are all wrong for an overly defensive fighter like Locche.
