Fury spotted at the casino and has wilder fans going NUTS, honestly if the ticket sales stuff is true they should be thanking Fury since Wilder cant sell a fight.

Wilder-Fury was the biggest fight either of them ever had. Fury hasn't sold a fight on his own either (see Fury-Wallin).

Shouldn't have started his camp until he had two vaccine shots.

You comparing an american to a brit if Fury fought a top 5 in Britain i bet it would be sold out or almost sold out in a giant arena.

Maybe with his current profile but the fact remains that he has never done it, in the UK or US. When he was meant to rematch Klitschko at M.E.N they had very poor ticket sales.

Seems to me that Bob Arum saw potential in Fury that businessmen in the UK didn't. That's reflected in the loyalty Fury has to him and might explain a lot of seemingly odd decisions recently.

Right, I can't remember him...though I watched Twin Peaks decades ago when it first hit British t.v.

Had the first jab, didnt want the second so close to the fight in case the side effects f*cked with training.
Obviously getting COVID can also f*ck with training.

Covid-19 risks are much more often understated than overstated.
Without context a 99% survival rate sounds not so bad (even though the now often & in the U.S dominant Delta strain is much more virulent & contagious).

That does not describe how common transmission is-1% out of tons of folks getting a virus is a hell of a lot of people dead.
The numbers of deaths have been more often undercounted. Still they passed 600,000 just in the U.S. a while back.

And *if* we did not have masks & lockdowns & social distancing the deaths would be many times higher.
The risk to vulnerable populations-the elderly, immune system compromised, & obese are much higher.

There are also a large number of people with long term, possibly permanent damage & suffering from the coronavirus "long covid".
The fact that many pass it on when asymptomatic (& may never come down with it) makes things particularly dangerous.
If we did not take strong measures early, there would not only have been exponentially more people dead, but widespread panic that would have damaged the economy more than any shutdown.

And if the Trump administration had been more rational & consistent, several 100,000 folks would still be alive.

    Wrong.

The numbers are grossly OVER-inflated, with all kinds of dishonesty being used to artificially bolster the numbers.

In Britain the numbers of Covid deaths are counted, and I kid you not, as anyone who died within 28 days of a positive Covid 19 test.

So, you could have a positive Covid test, die in a car crash, and it can and is counted as a Covid death.

There are lots of people who now benefit from the continuance of this situation.

Unless, or until, each death is verifiably due to Covid 19 and nothing else, the numbers cannot be trusted.

I'm sorry, but if you don't understand what's going on here you are either uninterested or misinformed.

All this Covid denier, anti-vax nonsense, is being used to shut down any independent inquiry.

None of this changes the fact Covid has killed people.

But, it's not as lethal as it has been made out to be.

    P.S there is no context to a 99% survival rate...it's a fact and doesn't need a qualifier.

Does anybody actually know the truth as to whether or not Fury was fully vaccinated, and if not, then why not? Also, has it been verified by a medical professional that he actually tested positive? Or are we just supposed to believe his camp without any verification?

I certainly hope fury makes a full recovery (assuming it's not a lie) and is 100% for the wilder fight. If wilder wins though, then people are gonna be pointing to covid as an excuse for fury losing, and then maybe a fourth fight will have to happen since the trilogy would be tied at that point? Ugh.
