One thing Haye has always had was good contacts in advertising and PR and he did a good job rebranding him 'WAR'.

Tbf to chisora hes went in with pretty much them all. His career was hit and miss...he wasnt really financially backed well like guys like khan but to his credit he financially backed his career over the last few years and hes been a better fighter for it. I still say chisoras better/more effective now than he was five/ten years ago.

Hes punched way above his weight when alls said and done whereas khan who,s been financially backed and protected from the start has ended up going the other way. The truth is he done the opposite of chisora and avoided good names for too long. Hes been absolutely slapped by anyone thats not been cherry picked. I remember him crying because he had to face maidana. Hes been the a side and yet hes ended up with a pitiful career when alls said and done. Should have fought brook years ago the truth is he avoided any proper challenge for too long. It was the same old i,ll fight no hopers before getting another payday career we,ve seen a million times before. The problem is he had no chance in them paydays. Could have been making fights that would have left him a proper career.

To chisoras credit hes lining them up. He,s took them all on. I know which one of them i respect more. Khan got money too easy because he was a big name ruined any chance of having a proper career. They spent most of their time taking on smaller guys...guys that couldnt punch at all...guys on the slide...or guys that he had zero chance against for pay days. Its been a manufactured career...cant say i blame him tbh...but thats probably why no one really respects khan all that much.

Hes a nice enough kid khan tho tbf...just been a frustrating career...considering how much support he had after the olympics.

I dont think people realise how good chisora actually is...hes a decent fighter. Hes just not technically very good...but you dont have to be to be a great fighter. Plenty of great fighters havent been technically great over the years. Chisoras other assets make him a good fighter. You dont give usyk a hard night without being a good fighter.

Khan was very good boxer but yeah, he was a pillow fist by welterweight standard.
This most likely is reason why clenelo had picked him as bulked up WW boxer for MW title defense:D fight. Clenelo fans and commentators still were happy with such fight and Clenelo popularity had raised after this. Khan had get paycheck and that's all.

Not smart boxer, if you are pillow fisted WW boxer to fight vs MW boxer - puncher.

    he isn't bad.
For you there are 2-3 maybe good enough for you boxers in division with approx 1000 boxers, others for you are bad, maybe even for you just club level etc casual way of thinking.

Come on mate. This post could have been written in just a few sentences.

Chisora has taken fights towards the end of his career, just for money.

Khan has also taken fights towards the end of his career, just for money.

If you mean when he had lost fights then according to you end of his career was when he lost vs 40 y.o almost one handed Vitali and after this get fight vs Haye.
Looks that then end of his career was almost 10 years ago?

Agree - a total plodding pudding in the ring only in it for the loot.

I’ve got no qualms with the level of fighter Chisora is. Respect for anyone who steps in the ring. It’s the fact he’s somehow a PPV fighter.

For me he’s barely European level. Again that’s fine but call a spade a spade. Public have been conned and fooled over him enough times.

Apart from Fury no fighter has had an easy night against him though.

He’s a gatekeeper, fringe world level. If he took his career seriously earlier on rather than after his prime he could have achieved more.

By the same token do good fighters get knocked out by prescott in a round...or smashed by danny garcia in four.
