A big argument that occurs on this forum is quality of wins. And often the old v young debate is brought up. And often fighters don’t get enough credit when they get a win over a real old fighter or a real young one when they’re past it. Examples
    Ali v Moore
    Baker v Chuvalo
    Satterfield v Williams
    Maxim v Patterson
    Marciano v Louis
    Povetkin v Byrd
In these few examples the wins were completely dismissed but overall it seems pretty close when a young up and comer faces a crafty old vet. What are some other examples and do you give credit to the fighters for these wins?

It's a win-win for the older fighter in my book. They get tremendous praise if they win. If they lose? Well, he was past his prime.

I've seen plenty of folks give Terry Norris credit for beating a shot SRL.

Well Rooster heaped praise on him for that, but Rooster is clinically insane.

I tend to agree with this. But i don’t discount wins on either end. Some might argue the older vet should win. Can go either way imo

Most of Daniel Zaragoza's best career work applies here. It's even more impressive considering his weight division.

Eder Jofre winning the title from Jose Legra in a higher weight class after coming back from retirement. One of the wins that massively boosts his legacy.

Jesse James Leija vs Francisco Bojado is also an incredible veteran performance from the 38 year old.

Michael Carbajals win over Jorge Arce comes to mind. Hopelessly behind then KO’s the young lion and retires with a title.
