Basically Mike would lose cause he'd get pushed around is what I'm reading here. That's a really simple way of looking at things. Mike got shoved around a lot because he was just worried about landing his accurate punches. He wasn't looking to get into a shoving match at all. George is going to have to throw at some point, not just push, and his slowness is going to get him countered. It didn't do George much good to manhandle Ali. He got tired and knocked out by well placed shots. Mike wouldn't need to tire Foreman. Do I think George could win? Sure, anyone with his chin and power's got a shot.
Foreman didn't just push he used proper established boxing techniques, possibly learned from his time with Liston. What you call pushing is called framing, posting, collar tying etc. Yes Foreman would throw at some point but have you ever noticed when Foreman threw he wouldn't just withdraw his arms back into a guard like most boxers? He kept his arms extended because he would utilise a missed punch to often manipulate an opponents position or guard to create openings, so a missed punch for him usually meant he was setting up the next punch. Inoue does this today, one of the reasons he throws a left hook would a downward trajectory isn't just to go over the shoulder but if his hook misses the follow through is used to pull down his opponent lead hand allowing him to follow up with a right hand to his opponents unguarded chin. Ali didn't get manhandled much for 2 reasons. One he was a bigger heavyweight not much smaller than Foreman and more importantly Ali was a heavyweight like Foreman who knew how to clinch and use his size to manipulate and control his opponent. In Ali Foreman was facing an opponent who understood the techniques he was using and use them himself.
Good call on the Ali fight, Ali's ring I.Q. was in the top one percent and I remember Dundee talking about how underrated Ali's strength was in that fight holding Foreman, pulling him, grappling. It wore Foreman out as he was attacking with max power in every punch. Also nice analysis on Foreman's punching techniques, he's never been given the credit due him on his footwork, ability to cut the ring off, and controlling his opponent. Tyson in my opinion can't go 8 rounds with a young George
the legend bab is back and still sayin the truth glad you didnt change it's always that dumb quote of George pushing mike as a advantage well it's not not for Mike's style of fighting well dummies pushing mike like bab says leaves him open to counters George has to land after dummies he cant just load up shots on mike sense he was slow when he throws he will for a fact be countered with combos mike had great defense sense people with way faster hands missed why would a way slower punch speed in George land these people so dumb and the logic is just ridiculous oh can just push mike and land George style has to change to a boxer like a lennox or buster mike was never beat by just coming and throwing punches without thought they need to be picked and fought from the outside
A big part of Mike's kung fu is intimidation. Mike ain't intimidating Big George. The bully gets bullied and battered. Mike goes to sleep or corner stops it by mid fight.
Though to call it would be a heck of a fight that’s for sure. I think if Tyson can catch Foreman early he could get an early knockout but if the fight passes the 5th I think Foreman has a good chance of either taking Tyson out late or winning by decision. Overall it’s tough to call but I’m taking Big George by 9th round KO.
I think a prime Tyson's movement would be too much for Foreman who would miss too many punches and run out of steam. I can see Foreman getting nailed by one of Tyson's trademark uppercuts and not being able to recover. Tyson by stoppage in the middle rounds.
Its not really a thought of mike winning but facts from vid that Mike would be way to fast for him george was to slow and easy to read never would land much mike had great defense And never was he hit often by a person like george its obvious mike wins but it wouldnt take long as you said i see 2 rounds max
