I think the jab is slipped, the right hand is half caught on Loma's glove, is clearly moves Loma's head though so it does connect to the head, just not cleanly.

The right hand to the body lands on the belt, which to me is a legal shot, the left hook to the body after that connects under Loma's elbow but it's glancing and Loma is moving away.

As for the punch to the shoulder it clearly lands and unbalances Loma. Not technically a scoring shot but it can sway a close round as it makes Loma look disorganised.

It seems you are focused on clean punching while clean punching does score higher even these glancing, half blocked shots still are scoring shots, not as good as clean shots but they can't be ignored when scoring a round this is pro boxing not amateur boxing where only clean punches landed by the knuckles of the glove count.

And also in that entire sequence Loma is being backed up, for a fighter who usually likes to be the one that presses the fact he's the one being made to fight his opponents fight can swing a round due to ring generalship.

I'm calling this a day now. You're just being disingenuous/dishonest claiming I'm denying reality when you can see for yourself that right hand looks like it hits the glove and at best knicks Lomas ear. There is very little evidence it lands so you're scoring the punch as a maybe punch. Again, go back to to 4:30, watch it in 0.25x... I know you're not doing that because if you did youd realise I'm right. Who cares if you're wrong? If you're wrong you're wrong it doesn't matter.. But it is what it is and you're wrong on this point here... At least there is very little evidence it lands.

    Clean punches > glancing blows

A jab to the mid section when the opponent is retreating taking the sting off the punch is only a little better than probing jab.. If you think otherwise go ahead but if boxing is scored based on that then that is just ridiculous.

In fact with that right hook body shot, you can see from the video itself at 0.25x speed that it at best hits Lomas hip upper thigh.

You're just clearly being biased here whether you have some kind of hatred for Lomas arrogance or hard on for weight bully Lopez

There we are 10 seconds.. Loma slips the jab and takes the right hand all or mostly on the gloves. Clearly landed though ay... Lomas glove is pulled down because Lopezs punch connects with it... Loma at best here took a grazing shot on the ear... And to add it was an inside glove shot

    Sit down son

    See last post

Lopez fist lands half on the lower part of the belt.. It hit Lomas upper thigh leg/hip...if a judge scores that.. That's ****ing stupid
Punching arms and shoulders are not clean punches... If they sway the round then judges aren't doing their job properly.. Anyone can swing punches and land on arms and shoulders there's a reason why body and head punches are scored and seen as significant and not **** like that.. If this was the case Maidana won both fights against Floyd
Yes I'm very aware of the differences in pro and amateur scoring but ultimately landing clean punches to body and head is the priority...its not slapping or punching arms.. Boxing has never been about that.... Any judge scoring based on that is just outright ****.. Anyone can slap, throw punches to arms and shoulders without getting near the target

Well, I had scored this one as Lopez 115-113 Loma with these 2 rounds very close.
I should take in account ring generalship and aggression too, not only cleanly landed punches.
So for me this is Lopez as winner but in no any case as easy fight, he barely had won this one.

While famous Canelo - GGG fights I had scored : 1 st as a GGG win and 2 nd as a draw or if I'm drunk I might score that Clenelo had won this one by 1 round nothing more. LoL, Clenbuterol fans might laugh and **** on me, Clenbuterol.
Floyd Jr vs Clenbuterol I think clearly had won 8 rounds from 12 rounds.

LOL do you not see that ? The footage literally shows the punch land. The right hand landed on the side of Loma's head you dumbass it just also hit Loma's gloves, it wasn't a clean punch but it still landed and still counts. You're focusing on "clean punches" in addition to this Lopez lands body shots in the beginning of the round.

"At best it knicks Lomas ear" even though you saw Loma's head turn from the impact LOL. Even in this video when you slow it down to .25% you can see the punch land. Even if it only knicked his ear (it didn't) the punch still landed. You're making up your own rules. The video from the full fight is a far better angle because in that video you can see the punch land on the side of his head even better and see the gloves take some of it as well.

Jabs that land still count so a body shot that lands whether Loma takes the sting out of them still count.

It looks to me like it was on the lower end of the belt line. I don't know what you're seeing

Lol shut the actual **** up, are you mentally ill or something how in the hell can you watch that and say yes that was a landed punch. An inside glove "punch" that connects mostly if not all on the glove Its ****ing there to see you cretin..it at best scuffed/scraped past Lomas ear lmao. My god this forum is full of dumb ass holes. If you're scoring that punch as anything then you're just plain and simple stupid as ****

Again denying reality and emphasising punches that hit mostly if not all on the gloves...the footage is there to see for yourself, and what happened is exactly how I explained what happened. You have too big of ego to step aside from your poor perception to just say " Im wrong" and now your in too deep to concede.

You've made your claim that Lopez won the fight and you're doing everything, including denying whats actually there, tto defend that position. I'm done with you, you're an imbecile.

What kind of dumbass logic is this? If the glove is placed near the head and someone punches that glove your head will move. This is something I bet a 5 year old could tell you. Not only that but many boxers roll with punches anyway
No when you slow it down to 0.25 speed you can see exactly what I've described over and over again you idiot. I do not believe youve watched it in either normal or slow speed tbh
(it did) knicking the ear is a landed punch... Why not score probing punches? Or just lightly extending the arm out and touching the nose/ lips of fighter? Why not score inside glove slaps to the elbows? Clean. Punching. Matters. Isnt the aim of the game to land the clean punches to target areas like the body and head? Ridiculous, you're trying to make a criteria where any pathetic scuffing punch can be considered as a landed punch.. Clean. Punches. Matter.
They're better than your dumbass rules where even scuffing someone's ear with the inside of your glove is a landed punch..pathetic honestly

LOL You're a mental patient. In slow motion even in the video you sent me it shows Lopez's right hand connecting with the side of Lomachenkos face. Now that i proved you wrong about it connecting you try to twist it into your own narrative by saying it knicked his ear. Lets debunk that real quick

As you can see Lopez's hand hook smashes through Lomachenkos guard at connect with the side of Loma's head. The glove did not take the full brunt the punch and if you want to be a dumbass and deny reality then i can show you a different angle.

There you can literally see the punch connect with no glove covering the side of Loma's head to take the full brunt of the punch because his guard had his hands in front of him which is why Lopez could connect around it. At this point all the objective evidence is against you.

"Why not score inside glove slaps to the elbows? Clean. Punching. Matters. Isnt the aim of the game to land the clean punches to target areas like the body and head? Ridiculous, you're trying to make a criteria where any pathetic scuffing punch can be considered as a landed punch.. Clean. Punches. Matter."

a glancing blow can till have some decent force and can still carry it's intentional power when it connects. Example: Just because somebody rides with a punch does not mean he takes the full sting out if it. Are you seriously comparing elbow slaps or probing punches that have no mean intention and no energy in them at all to a right hook from Lopez ? Really ? (LOL)

He lost to Salado because Salado came in way overweight and was allowed to punch low for the entire fight. Loma supposedly hurt his shoulder against Lopez and didn't engage for the first 5 rounds.

To say one of the most exciting boxers in the world with 400 amateur fights and a string of impressive stoppages against top flight boxers does not have enough aggression is clutching at straws.

Umhhh.. I don't think it's smart to be aggressive against a guy that probably weighs near enough the same as a young Canelo, especially when youre getting older, have a history of shoulder injuries & you're basically a FW. The problem isn't Lomas aggression , the problem in this sport is weight grifting. If I'd have known what actual size Lopez really is before this fight I'd have been more cautious in my pick. Size matters. Lopez could comfortably fight at 147 ALREADY! The guy probably walks around close to 170..
