I agree with what your saying, but I think Frank is limited due to BT Boxing’s marketing and exposure. At the end of the day, Sky has been there previously to market Eddie’s boxers to the casual audience whereas if you don’t have BT you don’t know any of Frank’s. My Dad, who is a very very casual boxing fan, didn’t know who Daniel Dubois was when we watched him vs Joyce (remembered Joyce from the Olympics.) Doesn’t know who Sunny Edwards or Antony Yarde is either. Put it in contrast when Frank had Sky before Matchroom ruled the roost, and he knew domestic fighters like Jamie Moore, Ryan Rhodes and John Murray because they were fighting 3 times a year on Sky Sports on a Friday night. If you have BT you 9/10 have Sky, whereas if you have Sky probably less than 50% also have BT, it’s an extra subscription and it’s not cheap either.
Spot on about Sky. I know it's social media but the likes of Josh Kelly and Conor Benn with Matchroom have 400k followers each on Instagram whereas their equivalent ability-wise over on BT, someone like Jack Catterall, has 25k. Even Josh Taylor only has 180k.
Hopefully he is just shifting the drudge on his undercard's to separate shows so they don't finish at midnight. Will make Saturday fight nights a lot better not having to go through endless prospect v journeyman fights
I agree to an extent but I also feel Queensbury are far too far old school for their own good. Back when they was on Sky they were the big boys amd everyone else had to play catch up, as they were one of the only promoters out there. I feel like the way they promote their fighters now is so slow and small time that even with a lower subscription there is no reason to not at least shout from the rooftops and try to promote. fury signed with top rank for instance. Is there any harm in Frank as part of that agreement ensuring that some of his fighters are on the fury cards as part of that agreement. Could they not put a couple of extra quid and let Dubois beat Dave Allen for instance who would drive names rather than Richard Lartey? franks methods are so obvious and the matchmaking is literally the same for every fighter. All end up essentially in WBO number 1 spot after beating 15 taxi drivers
IMO their promotion in the last couple of months has improved quite a but especially on twitter and more articles on the website. I asume it their new social media person they advertised a few months Still needs more work but its getting better
Yeah they need to get active on social media a bit more. For all Hearn’s faults he’s realised social media is massive and works it well. All the No Context Hearn stuff and over a million followers on Instagram.

Frank Warren these days just signs literally anyone on short term deals , just to take a look at them. Hes signing amateurs and prospects every week. Most are ****, and get dumped after a couple of fights. One of his recent signings he signed just because he's Okolies mate!

Jahanzeb is absolutely garbage. Looked awful and super flawed in his Queensberry debut, Warren probably just wants to get rid of him asap, cause Lynn will beat him to a pulp easily, it's a mismatch
Don’t mind the cards personally. But let’s be honest with f Hearn put this on Sky or DAZN all hell would break loose. 1-0 and 2-0 fighters fighting journeymen on national tv. ituama who is a youth Olympic gold medalist and multiple national amateur champion is fighting a guy with 73 losses. Why not pay up a few quid and put him in with another 1-0 or 2-0 fighter with lack of amateur experience. Or a journeyman who’s atleast got some form of name value. Liam Conroy would have been fun and would build His profile
It’s a friday night show and it’s being broadcast for free on YouTube.. They have the Sunny Edwards world title defence, Callum Johnson the next day on BT. No reasonable person would have an issue with it.
