    He lost more rounds than Joshua did to a fresher Takam, stopped him much earlier thanks to a British stoppage, that may have only prolonged the inveitable, but it leaves a bad taste, so it's hardly a performance that can be held over Joshua when viewed in context.

    im looking at everything, reactions, response times, adjustments, ability to see openings, etc...aj kills this guy. and im not trying to up aj, i dont think hes some great boxer, but this aint going to trouble him for more than 6 rounds.

    This happened when Khan was heavily dropped against Prescott. The referee allowed the fight to continue despite the fact that Khan was swaying all over the place.

    I wouldn't say that. Aj himself has said Joyce is a good fighter in the ring as they have sparred a lot. And if Aj starts gassing Joyce as slow as he is can catch him. I'd favor Aj though.

    AJ needed a premature stoppage from his own personal referee to save him from a rampaging Takam, Joyce just knocked Takam senseless in almost half the time

    A shutout either way was ridiculous, to discredit either boxers work completely is stupid. 3-2 either way was fine at the time of stoppage

    Joshua will be anxious as **** in there against Joyce.

    Joyce has a better chin and a way better gas tank. Joyce won’t stop coming forward and throwing punches all night. If Joshua can’t take out Joyce with his power, it’s a fight heavily stacked in Joyce’s favour. I mean AJ doesn’t even move his head much so Joyce’s simple straight punches will be effective.

    After three rounds, Joshua’s nervous energy and the lactic acid in his muscles will cause him to tire like David Price.

    Totally agree, everything about Joyce defies logic for him to be an elite HW. Quite slow, telegraphed punches, robotic and repetitive. Yet he can somehow do a standing backflip and beat the **** out of all of his opponents.

    Add the fact that he is so simple mentally it’s hard not to love Joe Joyce. He’s very endearing.
