Exactly. Fights should be decided by the fighters in the ring. A definitive conclusion should always be the goal of all involved. To do otherwise cheats both the fighters and the fans.

lol, yeah. davidson was looking for the kid to fire shots when his opponent lifts his front foot to take a step, or to shift to the side, cause he cant put weight behind a punch for that split second hes in that position. so its like a freebie. just throw the punch and slide, looking for any opening your punch created. different variations of the same concept, but you have to be aware of those split seconds within the dance.

Another notorious "British stoppage". Takam wasn't badly hurt, in previous fights where he;s been hurt he went down.

A ring warrior like Carlos Takam, who is one of the few who has never turned down a fight against the best heavyweights, deserves more respect than that referee gave him.

First they stuck him with Joyce, then they stuck him with a fork. He may be done, hopefully he comes back. I actually thought Dubois would beat would beat Joyce but was wrong. I'm a Joyce fan now because he has the attributes to just jab smaller fighters from the outside but he works hard and pressures. His activity and footwork are great for a heavyweight and he can also put some real leverage and weight behind his punches when he has you hurt or wants to. He'd be a problem for a lot of the top heavys. I think a match up against Wilder would be fascinating, at least for the 1st few rounds.

I don't know if I'd call him a plodder in the true sense of the word because he works behind a jab, has good feet and balance to step back and can get around you for sneaky shots. Other than Usyk, I don't think there are many smaller mobile HW's out there to box him and move around.

No argument there like you said tho has to be spot on. If there weight is on the back foot already and there momentum is taking them away from the shot. Then it will never land with the power intended. Precision rifle needed

Tyson Fury, the lineal undefeated champion for all 4 belts and the current WBC World Heavyweight Champion is the man to beat.

Like him or loathe him he is the current number one target for all aspiring world champions.

my favorite method is stepping to the side, and when he lifts his front foot to follow you with a pivot, fire a punch. you have to time it cause it happens instantly. practice the timing in the gym and soon it becomes part of your rhythm.

I don’t know what people see in Joyce. He is extremely slow and easy to hit. Wilder, Joshua , Fury all beats him.

Wilder knocks him out. I’d be surprise if it goes 5rnds. Wilder may not be a great boxer but his power is real and his accuracy is underrated. Wilder can load up on a slow and flat foot Joyce.
