Frazier may well win this fight but it would be far, far, far from one way traffic. Ezzard is 100% going to hit him back and hit him hard.

True, in the Nov 18 1970 title bout against champion Joe Frazier in Detroit, Michigan, Bob Foster tagged Joe with his fabled left hook, and Frazier just smiled at him, then took out Foster in round 2. This was supposed to be a tune up for the March 8 1971 Fight Of The Century title defense against undefeated challenger Muhammad Ali.

Past prime Charles went 15 round with Rocky Marciano, yet people expect him at his peak to be knocked out before 10 by Frazier? That's strange way of thinking, Charles is highly underappreciated here.

Frazier would outpoint him, but Charles would win rounds and make him miss a lot.

IMHO, Charles would definitely be competitive with Joe up to a point in the fight. Head to head, I think Joe would eventually start wearing Ezzard out with his work rate. I'll say a fading Charles hears the ending bell of Round 15 but loses the Unanimous Decision to Smokin' Joe.

Prime Frazier was far more devastating than Marciano. And Charles was not all that dynamic at heavyweight. He was tough, threw well timed shots, not overly powerful but had oodles of experience.

    Frazier KO4.

As good as Charles was this doesn't end well for him. Frazier eats him up in the late rounds and spits him out between rounds 13-15 for a late KO if Charles lasts that long, that's having the best scenario I can think of for Charles. Anything less than the best Charles shows up then he'll be stopped in 10.
