Yeah, but I bet he watched the entire fight. You know being a boxer and that. I'm sure he didn't rely on brief highlights put together by a BT Sport video editor

Anyway, you're either a troll or stupid and I try not to waste more than three posts replying to either...

Why am I a troll for expressing my opinion? Highlights show the most important parts of a match. And Derek Chisora agrees with me that Joyce lost every single round except thenlast against Takam. Which means it is redundant for me to watch the entire match anymore.

I only watched the first four and there's no way Takam won any more than one of them.

Having him winning every round is ridiculous.

Takam was ahead on all three score card at time of stoppage.

I think the ref did step in early but Takam was going to get knock the **** out in that rnd. There was over 2 minutes left and he was hurt bad. Joyce was hitting him like he was working a punching so he wasn't going to gass. I really wish wouldn't have stepped in but the outcome would have been the same.

You guys should watch from 2:38 in the 6th round, takam threw 0 punches while getting battered until the stoppage at 2:12, thats not counting the beating from the initial left hook that whacked takam in the beginning of the round. Great stoppage, ref saved takam from massive brain damage. This was not a uk/moscow/germany/oakland stoppage like what so many people are saying on social media.

I thought the stoppage was a little early, Takam did to. However the bigger picture is being ignored, Joyce was getting hit easily by a dinosaur who was clearly running out of gas by the end of the 4th round. I think this fight has lowered Joyce's reputation and expectations

I wasnt sold on Joyce before this and I stand by it still. Joyce is stiff-legged with no real head movement, easy to hit, terribly ineffective jab, fires at around 50% most of the time that are ineffective.... Terrible punch selection...

The moment he steps in there with any of the champs, hes history. Zero chance. I dont care if you give him 3 more years. He aint gonna be more than what you see.

Yeh he might have been beating him and it was possibly an early stoppage but no way was takam gonna win the fight. Joyce just keeps going and was breaking him down, takam was done , whats the point of delaying his misery and getting him hurt.

Highlights can be manipulated anyway the broadcaster chooses

    What planet are you from?

Your opinion can not even be valued unless you have seen the fight in full and thats a fact

Takam wasn’t finished, his immediate response to the stoppage showed that.

I also don’t blame the ref for stopping the fight at that point. A fighter cannot let his opponent deliver a long, sustained, unanswered series of shots like that. It was target practice for Joyce at that point.

It wasn’t until Takam got wobbled and backed into the ropes, and still wasn’t firing back that the ref stopped it.

Could he have waited to Takam got dropped or was helpless and unable to defend himself? Sure. But a punch too early, and all that.

Meh. Boxers take rounds or portions of rounds off all the time. They reset and charge up again. It was a very competitive fight until that point, I don’t think he was done. I also don’t think he can protest at all as it was his fault it got stopped.

There is taking rounds off but allowing the opposition to punch you 16 plus times suggests otherwise

Its like you say irrelevant anyway, he was going to lose
