I think Moon might grind out a tough points win. Can't say for sure though.

This fight would have been beyond wild.

Moon’s relentless attack, strength, and power will be be too much for Tapia. Tapia wouldn’t have the power to keep him off and he will have the tendency trade punches, which is an absolute no-no against a tank like Moon.

Favor Tapia to win a close but clear decision, his tendency to get drawn into brawls plays against him with Moon but I honestly think he can match Moon there but fall back to sticking and moving. Moon makes it ugly and definitely shines at points in the bout but Tapia wins on the cards.

Not a pretty fight for him though.

I would need to watch more of Tapia to weigh in. Moon is a great blind pick regardless so durable, powerful, aggressive blah blah blah. He makes it to the final bell and can end it in one shot so he has a chance against anyone.

Over 2 years from my previous post, my pick would now go to Tapia winning a decision. He was a better fighter than Richardson, Bueno and even Khoakor imo, and also proved himself against strong guys at bigger weights. Richardson was flummoxing Moon with his movement and Tapia is better than him. Not easy of course but I just cant see him not exploiting Moons flaws like these guys did.

I've actually been thinking Moon has become slightly overrated on forums, especially for his durability, which was incredible, but he could be stunned and hurt. I think a tough, spiteful Boxer at the elite level is likely to beat him more often than not imo (and tbf there's not a lot of them at 115lbs).

Funny, at 115lbs I have most of the 'big 4' beating each other. My off the head picks:

    Tapia over Moon
    Watanabe over Tapia
    Moon over Roman (happened)
    Tapia over Roman
    Roman over Watanabe (happened)
    Watanabe over Moon

Not including little gods like Galaxy and Penalosa

Tapia is too fast for Moon and he can box and move when he wants - he has too many weapons in his arsenal.
