I don’t think Canelo could win this fight even if he squeezed out every advantage possible. Bivol is always in shape and doesn’t rehydrate much. Canelo struggles with movers and Bivol is the biggest/most skilled one he’s faced. Does anyone give Canelo a chance outside of his judges?
Canelo eating clen and trening hard, with a 164 lb catchweight and rehydration clause + Texas judges = Bivol DQ for punching Canelo in the face.
Bivol hasn't exactly set the world on fire with his last couple performances has he? Not saying Bivol couldn't win against Canelo, but Canelo would be the slight favorite if they indeed fight.
On a fair playing field.. Canelo would get comfortably UDd by Bivol.. Wouldn't be surprised if Bivol broke him down late... The Canelo hype is off the charts considering his extensive weight jumping cherrypicking and card stacking
I think we'll get Canelo-Bivol next, regardless. That's why Hearn put Bivol on the show the week before Canelo-Saunders. They're on the same fighting schedule, now. But, Bivol didn't look so great that night. So, I'd still make Canelo the favorite.
i dont think bivol is aggressive enough. you have to show superiority over a guy in canelos position, not just keep him at bay. unless you hold a similar position, which bivol does not. i do believe its a tougher puzzle for canelo to solve than beterbiev is.
Bivol has traits that on paper seem like problems for Canelo but he is not a huge light heavyweight and did not look great in his last outing and has been complacent lately. I favor Canelo, not saying its easy though
I think so. But even if Canelo was to win, he loses to many on here who like to say robbery this, robbery that. The real question should be, will he get credit if he won.
