I said this last year when they were saying Canelo wouldn’t fight Beterbiev. He checks all the boxes: close to 40, inactive, flat footed and injury prone. Trust Canelo will fight him and be praised as the greatest.

Huh did you not read what I said?? I said he will fight him when other said he wouldn’t. Beterbiev is very fragile and inactive which are two of the worst things you can be at 37-38 years old. I just call is as it is, Canelo is calculated because he’s the big money maker just like Floyd, Oscar and even Sugar Ray Leonard.

I just recently watched the 4 kings documentary where Leonard clearly admitted that he only chose to fight Hagler after he saw how vulnerable he was against Duran and Mugabi. So what Canelo is doing isn’t new at all he’s just the biggest earner right now so he gets the most scrutiny..

People saying Beterbiev should be at his 40 for Alvarez to go against him.A think in this case, he should be 50yo so it won't be too risky fight for Canelo.
I don't get these he's too old stories.No, he's still too better for Canelo.He would knock out the mexican in first rounds....or sell the fight and promise to keep his hands away from Canelo's head, to give Canelo chance to go the distance.But i doubt the 2nd scenario because Beterbiev is too proud for it.
I guess Alvarez is thinking he could somehow stand all 12 rounds, thinking only about his defense and then we know, the judges.But that would be veery risky.
