Plant is passing up a payday over 10 times his biggest payday to date because he doesn't like that the investors think he isn't worth 10 million dollars without Canelo??? Am I understanding right?? Plant wants to go on with the scheduled fight against a replacement opponent in the event Canelo gets hurt or sick and wants the 10 million??
According to what Plant said, he wouldn’t be allowed to take any other fight, regardless of what he would earn, until the Canelo fight happens. He would basically be frozen out of his livelihood until the fight eventually takes place.

No, you are not. Plant's issue isn't he won't get 10 million for a replacement. His issue is that he won't get to fight anyone, for any amount of money. Just sit around and have to be happy that he's getting that 10 million dollar payday in the distance...that may not be 10 million dollars anymore because it will no longer be on Mexican Independence Day weekend. But he's passing up 10 million, a shot a unification, and super stardom, because if Canelo gets hurt he has to wait a few months to get his 10 million dollar payday? LMAO!! Clearly he didn't. Plant made 750K in his last fight. Canelo made 35 million from DAZN alone. Plant decided against fighting Canelo because he was told that he needed to wait for Canelo if he gets hurt IF he wants those 10 million.

So he's upset that he would possibly only fight once in 2021, but then get a 10 million dollar pay day by years end, or early 2022??
