Given the marketing push to the younger folk I doubt a monthly sub to DAZN is much more than a fiver when the trial period ends.
I see Nick Peet and Adam Cattreal have signed with Dazn. Been following their MMA stuff the past year and they're very good to listen to. Cattreal is one of the best interviewers but I don't know how close he'll get to that with Dazn.
They did a show 5 weeks ago criticising DAZN's schedule. They also said the PBC schedule was the best in boxing. That show has now been deleted on YouTube.
Haha. It is good for DAZN though, signing these type of people. They need to address that input on where they can improve etc.
Saw a video from the launch party with a load of fake tanned birds dancing (Phelps, that Bella from Matchroom etc) and Creepy Koogs was actually bending down behind them dancing
Wouldn't be surprised to see a bit of 'beef' at the presser, bit of a push and shove with Benn and Granados to try and cause a bit of noise.
Nick commented on a tweet about that the other day. You won't get them criticising the cards to that extent of course as employees but hopefully they can still bring their honest opinions to some extent. Mainly would like Cattreal to do some interviews.
Hahahaha Benn is out with Covid. Matchroom and DAZN in the mud. At least Boxnation managed a proper launch with Cleverley vs Bellew.
Conor Benn tested positive for Covid 19 and is off the first show. Xu v Wood now headlines but a pretty dreadful start to the new Matchroom/DAZN deal.
