Losing Conor Benn from the opening night is a huge blow for the first Matchroom/DAZN UK card. Will it matter? Difficult to know tbh. Early on, my guess is they have some core goals: Get enough traditional boxing fans signed up at £2, hoping at least half will stay on when the price goes up (my guess is to £7.99). Hearn made a point after the Sky split that the numbers on Sky for the standard Fight Nights weren't that great - so whatever the numbers are like, he's going to spin it as a success. Test out effectiveness of emails/push notifications to everyone who signed up for Canelo-Saunders. They'll try and work out the right times to hit and maybe tempt those who cancelled back with some kind of freeview. Get enough buzz/social media influence so DAZN can start a road towards combining traditional boxing events with entertainment events - yep, just like Triller, just without the PPV fees. Speaking for myself, I have a DAZN sub and will watch the Fight Camp events. All the horse**** aside there will end up being some entertaining bouts on there. Once Mike Costello's back from Japan, I'm confident actual bouts will be far more watchable than with Smith/Macklin on comms. I am hoping it works out for DAZN, and they pick up some more decent events. Month by month subs instead of Sky Sports style 18/24 month contracts deserve applauding, even if it means I dip in and out when events aren't interesting.
Eddie very lucky he got that Xu Wood fight over the line late because it might just save him. I know people will love to kick Eddie while he’s down but this is a cracking standalone fight and I reckon Wood can win it.
My father had a games console that he used to use regularly, right up until he passed over. He was nearly 60
Looks like they are trying to fuse top class boxing with Emmanuele wearing a red shoe in a compromising situation channel 5 style.
A European getting ****ed in the ring by 3 old blokes. And thats just the British judges scoring a WBA International title belt.

***** and views. It's all Kugan cares about. Notice how he doesn't let any of the other IFL people interview fit women.
