Jalolov is an absolute monster, a nigh unbeatable force who might rival prime Lennox Lewis

I am with the majority and see him winning the gold metal at the Olympics. Nobody stands a chance against this man. At 6'7, 250 pounds. He is the southpaw version of Vitali Klitschko with unholy power. He will fight Torres in the finals and the result will be the same as it was in the amateurs. Pray for Torres because he is a very short, stocky, and talented american prospect but now that Jalolov will be his future opponent, it's over.

The fact that Joe Joyce beat this man makes my respect go up for him greatly.

I will say this however. Jalolov will not beat Tyson Fury. Jalolovs entire style is milking his size advantage against his opponents, which is why he lost to 6'9 Ivan Dychko in the ametures 4 times.

^^^^ more highlights of this future world champion. Lets hope he doesn't end up like another Jorge Luis Gonzalez(LOL)

Hold your horses Billy the Kid. Jalolov is very schooled and technically sound, but doesn't do anything extraordinary, no super speed or crazy combinations of the sorts. Despite being 250 pounds, his frame is more lean and lanky and not as bulky of that of Lewis or Joyce (although Joyce is bigger than 250 pounds)

Another thing. Torres won't beat Kunkabayev in the semi-finals.

Jalolov should be the red hot favourite for the gold.

I'm very far from sold he does well in the pros longterm though.

He sort of flirts with danger with his style and doesn't react all that well when he does get tagged.
Not saying he is packing Uzbeki glass but there are more qualified chin experts on this board that might be able to tell.

Thats why i said i hope he doesn't end up being another Jorge Luis Gonzalez. Gonzalez was 6'7, 240-250 pounds and had a good ameture background. The guy literally beat Bowe, Lewis and even Teofilo Stevenson. But in the pros Bowe totally demolished him and it spirled down from there.

Javolov was a lot worse when he lost to Dychko, since 2019 for some reason he has been way way better and won way more impressive tournaments, world championship, Strandzha cup, and he’s about to win the Olympic gold.

He does look very impressive, though I think he looks quicker and has faster feet than Vitali. I like how he uses his lead hand, has that half extended jab like Lewis did, posts and controls opponents heads with the lead hand, he's going to be a very difficult fighter to cut the distance on, especially combined by his footwork and movement.

But yes he'd need more than that to beat someone like Fury he'll need to add an inside game like Lewis to be able to destroy bigger opponents when he is on the rare occasion out sized.

It's because he is a naturally big man. Joyce, Lewis, both Klits, Joshua etc are/were beanpoles naturally. It's all steroid induced muscle that gives them their bulky look. If you actually look at their clavicles, you can see that they are narrow. They are narrow shouldered twigs naturally, they just happen to be long vertically. Jalolov is a legit broad shouldered huge human.

It's also because he's taller, and because his frame is a lot bigger and longer so his mass is more spread out. In addition to that Jalolov wasn't 250 for all his pro bouts. His weight fluctuated from 234lb to 253lb so he could have been around 235-250 for some of his amateur fights

He'll probably face the British guy, Frazer something, in the final.

I remember how much HBO hyped him up and he turned out to be less then advertised in the pro ranks…. The same with that other guy Courage Shabalaba.

He looks promising and could be a serious threat in the heavyweight division, so far he is on the right track...
