Fury hasn't defended a title, hasn't fought in two years and he just faked Covid to push a fight back. He's not bullying anybody right now hahah
I've said it for a long long time.. AJ doesn't punch as hard as some of you believe he does. This idea AJ is some monster one punch killer is utter nonsense. AJ's last win inside 3 rounds was Eric Molina back in 2016. Since then he went.. 11 with Klitschko, who hadn't fought for a long time and was 40 odd and is hardly noted for his granite chin. 10 withCarlos Takam, AJ winning well but a rather suspect stoppage, Takam is a man who Chisora cleaned out in 8 in Takams very next fight. 12 with Parker, AJ didn't drop or even rattle Parker, Whyte and Chisora both dropped him. 7 with Povetkin, again hardly a young, strong granite jawed version of Povetkin. LOST TO RUIZ IN 7. 12 with Ruiz in the rematch, didn't drop Ruiz and this is the same Ruiz that old shot Arreola had on the floor and in serious trouble in his next fight. 9 with Pulev, another old fighter who had seen better days, took AJ 30 uppercuts and a lorry load of right hands to stop him, if AJ punched like some of you say then Pulev wouldn't have gone past a round.
Aj isn't a monster puncher, going 9 with a past it Pulev and gassing in the process is very suspect. But he hits harder than old Takam and Jennings thats for sure. He wont stop Joyce. Anybody who thinks that has to be an Aj fanboy
I like Joyce and think he's underrated but can't see him beating Joshua, he might go the distance but I think peoples hate for Joshua is clouding their judgement here.
he is way 2 slow.. unless he lands lucky punch joshua punishes him 9 out of 10 times every day of the week.
I'm sure he can take a flush AJ power shot, it's not like AJ sparks everyone out as soon as he lands a good shot, he's had to grind some guys down like Breazeale. But AJ doesn't rely on just single shots like Wilder, he's a decent combination puncher, one punch might not do it but a combo can probably put Joyce down and while Joyce can take a lot of punishment I'm sure, anyone can be broken down. I favour AJ to beat him should they face off based on what we've seen so far. But it's a fight I'd love to see along with Fury vs Joyce.
He didn`t take that many shots flush from Dubois and AJ will land more as Dubois couldn`t get past Joyce`s longer jab and only fought in spurts.
The usual suspects in here who can't see that boxers are not robots who approach every opponent the same way. Joyce sleepwalked to victory against Tickling Takam who he practically laughed off, and the usual suspects think that he approaches a Joshua bout the same way. These are the same expert analysts who think that because Usyk didn't stop Chisora he won't stop Joshua. Always good for a laugh.
Yep it's clear if you watch the Dubois and Jennings fights there's two versions of Joyce. One who when he isn't faced with a threat just plows through guys with little thought on defence because he knows he can't be hurt and then there's the version who moves more, uses more head movement, is more patient and focused. I think many are underrating Usyk chances. People say he looked bad vs Chisora but who looks good vs Chisora? Vitali and Fury only guys who beat him easily. Uysk did far better than Whyte and Parker he's easily a level above them, this will be Joshua toughest fight since Wlad.
That's highly debatable. What's prime Wladimir Klitschko? The one who bored everyone to death against Ibragimov? The one who could hardly land a glove on Haye and bored everyone to death? The one who was brutally stopped by Corrie Sanders, Ross Puritty or Lamon Brewster? The one who beat up hopeless opposition like Mormeck, Leapai, Brock? Which one is it and how do you qualify it?
