Daniel Dubois and Tommy Fury to fight on Paul-Woodley undercard

Dubois’ opponent got beat by a bloke who was 42 at the time 2 years ago.

He's all over the shop with regards to what type of promoter he wants to be and what type of promotor he doesn't want to be.

Embarassing for Tommy Fury as well. What can he possibly say to Jake Paul now?

The lad Fury is fighting is an MMA fighter who I can’t find on BoxRec- it’s getting embarrassing with his opponents now.

Whatever happened to prospects having a few fights with journeymen and then going after an area title in a leisure centre?

 

Tommy Fury's opponent? Surely there are some kind of rules about the level of opposition?

Tommy Fury is without doubt the biggest fraud in British boxing, I don't care how many fights he has had or how many amateur fights he has had, this relentless quest to find and fight the worst possible opposition needs to be halted.

Surely a commission have to step in and insist this opponent isn't at the required level to be given the OK to fight.

 

YouTuber Jake Paul has a far better resume than Tommy Fury.

And Tommy Fury is apparently from a "fighting family" and is therefore a "fighting man"... I think with this the Fury family can't really make those claims any longer.



This brings so much shame on the Fury family name, it's beyond embarrassing.

 

All the Fury's except Peter are full of it.

 

Can’t blame Tommy Fury - he clearly has many limitations and isn’t improving despite being a pro a few years now - he loves the celebrity lifestyle and having that dolly bird on his arm as well (who wouldn’t.) Fighting Jake Paul is the only way he’s going to make a million quid from boxing in one night so that’s what he’ll do.

In terms of the fight, I can’t believe I’m saying this but Paul has a really good chance. He’s got more resources than Fury and seemingly training a lot more often than Fury. Also, by having Paul’s next opponent on the card it clearly shows what everyone knows about Woodley’s chances to be true.

 

This is one of the biggest myths in boxing. Every Peter Fury YT comments section: "Top bloke is Peter", "proper boxing man is Peter", "the only Fury that doesn't talk crap", "could listen to Peter talk all day", "no BS from Peter, pure truth" etc.

Very dissapointing opponent for Dubois.

 

Yeah, it is. I'm guessing its all just to make Dubois look good infront of a mainly casual audience and boost his profile somewhat? But yeah, fights like this don't really do anything for Dubois development

 

Good to see Tommy building himself slowly for a career defining fight against a YouTuber
