Iirc he was boxing for a big payday and after the Beterbiev loss he didn't want to redo the whole thing for way less money cuz he had other means to earn money , he was also a bit leery after the death of Maxim Dadashev and putting Adonis Stevenson in coma. He thought he suffered from a brain bleed after the Beterbiev fight but it turned out to be mild concussion , so he didn't want to risk it anymore and retired soon after. A good decision imo, it's dangerous to continue in a combat sport when you aren't sure of yourself.

Saw a family pic of his on the gram this morning. He is still looking in tip top shape, barely an ounce of fat on him. But more importantly he looks like a happy man.
Yall need to do the recent revelations about his connections with a known criminal. I loved Gvodzyk, but this article was written recently by a Luxembourger journalist. The guy funded his career and also bequeathed his assets upon death.
