75% of his resume has been world title fights. He's a 3 weight world champion. 0 controversial decisions. He hasn't even had a close fight. He took some nightmarish bombs from the much bigger Donaire and had his eye socket broken in the second round, but otherwise Inoue won clear. He has hurt or dropped every single guy he's faced. He has KO'd guys with left hands, right hands, to the head, and to the body. Perfect fighting machine. Monster.
p4p is also a popularity contest at the end of the day, I agree with all you said but he needs to beat Rigondeaux or Casinero to get that position. Right now most of the casuals know him for being an entertaining fighter and beating Donaire but if he takes down someone equally known he'll be up there for sure.
He hasn’t beaten a single A level fighter in their prime. Just a bunch of C levels. Why doesn’t he fight Rigo?
Rigo is nowhere near prime and even in his prime he wasn’t even p4p 1. So what does that tell you that Inoue wouldn’t even be clear favourite to beat a guy who was never #1 and way past it? Let’s face it, none of those guys Inoue beat are any good. Sub-BW is extremely lacking in talent due to pool size. I also think it’s crazy that these weights are separated by 3lbs lol.
You know who it is. Despite, what inoue has done in the lower weight classes which is impressive, he doesnt have a great resume that would stand out over the clear number 1. Hes got a better resume than Crawford, and a case as number 2 p4p.. but number 1? No, i disagree.
Loma 87% of his fights have been world title fights 3 weight world champion 0 controversial decisions 2 times World Amateur champion 2 times Olympic gold medalist Not saying Inoue isn't up there but it's not like his resume stands out from the other top guys like Loma or Canelo or even Crawford.
Inoue would be the clear favorite and he would KO Rigondeaux proper, imo. Gonzalez, Estrada, Cuadras, and Rungvisai never mentioned him nor are they interested in facing him. I'd pick Inoue to KO them all if they had fought. Inoue's gonna grab all the belts and then move up.
