Round 4

LesPierre just walking in like a zombie, letting Algieri tee off, mostly downstairs. Algieri getting the better of things on the outside as well now for the most part, as his legs seem to have been 'activated' since the first round or two, good stutter-steps in and out with his left jab. LesPierre is still able to line up a nice left hand lead here and there, but getting outlanded by a big margin on the whole.

Chris you cool with using this one ^ as our go-to copy/paste source for the next few RBR threads? (so that by a week or so from now it'll be matriculated into all the ones going forward, since presumably you like me just pull up anything recent to get it from each time)

 

Round 5

LesPierre is diving in and slapping the body, and pumping out the odd straight up top when there's separation, but he is by and large reduced to writhing in the pocket, squeezing his arms together and riding punches while Algieri unloads. Getting a little messy when they get into hooking exchanges and both miss or see their fists bounce off each other's elbows, thighs, or backsides. Algieri upping that work rate from round to round and working the body very well.

Round 6

LesPierre is getting just straight murdered to his body. Algieri varying up his speed and power with his combos, sometimes just softly tapping hooks around behind LesPierre, on the shoulder blades and then sitting down on shots at every altitude. LesPierre starts to wake up and throw with spite in the closing moments, but this frame has long since been lost to him without a miracle turnaround KD.
