This fight could actually be next for GGG. What are chances of Murats upsetting GGG ?
Rob Brant beat Murata by moving around and using handspeed. Those are things Golovkin does not possess. Golovkin though past his prime has an iron chin and thudding power. This fight will not go the distance someone Is getting stopped.

So I think Murata will be the acid test of how many miles GGG has left. Ryoto is best described as high energy, a busy in-your-face fighter that will wear out any opponent with a suspect gas tank or physical flaws. He has good speed and good power, definitely one of the harder challenges at 160. I think GGG is the better boxer with more power but he's slowed down a lot since his heyday. Golovkin will likely fight off the jab and pick his shots, looking to land something big and end the fight earlyish

Not really logical on paper but I sort of think Golovkin has a low chance of scoring a KO. Stopping Murata would highly impress me. Still think I'm picking Golovkin to take a decision though.

Murata KO’s Golovkin, passing of the torch. Ryoto goes on to dominate 160 for 10 years fighting exclusively in Japan, becomes an ATG.

I think he hangs with the older GGG and survives the final round.

Actually looking at Murata, he sometimes tends to loop his punches in. That could be problematic if Golovkin works off the jab, not to mention that GGG keeps a nice high guard for that sort of shot. Murata also goes to the body well though, and Golovkin will definitely be tested if it goes long. I don't think Murata has been off his feet.

This fight will be exciting. It is a solid matchup that will be a huge event in Japan, that is if the COVID situation is under control.

    I really like this matchup.
