    Louis would stop him, Lyle's defense is way too mediocre to take Joe punches all night long.

    True, but...Simon was a huge guy especially for this time. 6.4" 255 lbs. I don't know which round it was. Maybe it was a bit later in the fight and he already gassed out. But anyway. Louis could handle big guys and punchers like Carnera and Baer. I don't think it will be easy, and i don't say Louis had no weaknesses, but i still think Louis is the better all round boxer. He is more ballanced and versatile. So 70/30 Louis.

    As much as I like Lyle Louis is by far the superior fighter. Joe by UD or TKO

    Lyle would make it into, not out of, the 5th round. And it's quite possible he'd rock Joe pretty damn hard.
