    Great video, btw.
I swear for as long as Pac's stamina can hold up, people will be surprised at how competitive Pac will make it look.

I think Brook tested him pretty well. He's a good puncher and Spence ate right hand after right hand.

That being said I do think there's a window for Spence to get dropped. If he ducks down at the wrong moment or walks into a left he can get knocked over. I just don't think he will be too badly hurt. He'll reset and then start grinding on the inside.

Pacquiao deserves a fitting exit from the ring to end his career by knockout loss to Spence.

i dont think so. a fighter of his stature should end in a hard fought battle befitting of his class. ideally, i would like to see him give spence his toughest fight ever, before walking away giving father time the victory. unfortunately, most people dont know how good spence really is, i believe i do, and like you, i think spence will be too much for manny, in every dpt.
manny is my all time favorite active fighter, one of my 4 all time favorites. and spence is one of my 4 favorite active fighters, which includes pac. so im gonna have mixed feelings no matter how it goes. i just want both to get the credit they deserve.

I know what you mean. The reason I say it will be a fitting exit is Pacquiao will keep fighting if he does not get knocked out and realise his time has gone. Remember the old saying about a fighter being the first one to know but the last one to accept. I love Manny and want him to become President of the Philippines but what Spence does to him may considered a mercy act by taking him out.

That’s important. Manny is older but still a top fighter. Spence had his car crash but proved he’s still at the top of the division. Whoever wins deserves credit.

You people are cray cray. If Spence couldn't HURT Mikey, nor Porter, nor Danny - he's not hurting Pac.

Pac may fade late and cant keep up with the pace and get stopped, but that's not Spence being a superior fighter beating him up i.e what Pac did to Margo or Cotto.

how is that not a superior fighter? he may not be a superior fighter than pac once was, but if he stops pac now, he is most certainly superior than pac right now. and no, i dont think spence is a superior fighter than a prime pac, but this isnt a prime pac. if youre trying to find the best welter right now, the superior one, this fight will no doubt answer a good part of that question.

I’m referring to intangibles like speed, power, footwork, skills etc. I don’t think Spence dominates Pac in those areas. If Pac gets beat, I’d say it’s Father Time beating him rather than Spence, for example, fading hard late in the fight. Pac may still be the better fighter but his old man stamina can’t keep up.

It’s like playing grandpa at chess and his mind is still sharp as hell and beating ur ass. But if u played 10 games, his mind gets too tired and can’t keep up.

If Spence beats him from the start, our jabs him, out manoeuvre him, takes all his shots etc. Then I’d concede that Spence was the superior fighter putting a beating on Pac, Pac was simply outgunned. But I doubt that’ll be the case.

Put it this way, I didn’t think Mcbride or Danny Williams was a superior fighter to even the version of Tyson that they beat. But they beat him nonetheless. I’d say Tyson beat Tyson. His mind and love for boxing was gone.

thats just it, stamina is a big part of what makes a fighter who he is. and pac no longer has that stamina. i think spence is a better rounded fighter than pac, even prime pac. but its those intangibles you point out that make prime pac a greater fighter than spence, imo.

I remember having the same mixed feelings when Pac fought Cotto.
While I disagree that Spence is better than Pac in every department (specifically hand speed, power, quickness and craftiness/experience all belong to Pac -- and another controversial thing I can see happening is Pac nullifying that jab courtesy of check hooks that almost dropped Margarito) I agree that no matter who wins, they both deserve full credit for stepping up to the plate and fighting legitimate contenders, and of course the winner should justifiably be given props for defeating the other.

Spence won't and shouldn't get much credit for beating Pac. Almost 43 years old, 71 professional fights, smaller, inactive, part-part-time boxer.

Imagine 31 year old Pac fighting a 42 year old Spence!

He should get credit for beating a guy who could beat Thurman. He’s still a top welterweight.

42 years old. 2 years of inactivity. A part-time boxer over the last several years even when he was active. These facts play just as much as a role in the outcome of the fight as Spence himself.

Why do you think Spence is the overwhelming favorite to win?
