I'm not a hater, but I have watched the fight. Sartison was "Lockett" going into the fight but got a serious upgrade after the fact. Nothing in it indicated that a rematch with Calzaghe would turn out ANY different. No need for that fight.

How is the Sartison fight a good measure of how Kessler would or wouldn't adjust his strategy (which he's said he would do, dramatically) in a second fight with Calzaghe? Is Dimitri dripping with stylistic similarities to Joe or something? Otherwise, it really doesn't tell anything, does it?

He simply didn't look that sharp. People were blaming it on 'ring rust'. Several people have stated/confirmed Kessler has back problems and can only fight about twice a year. Boxing is NOT a good business to be in if you have back trouble.

    PM in process.

Kess did look like crap against Sartison.

I wouldn't say he "struggled" against a bum, he did win every round after round 1, but Sartison was a bum and Kessler looked very ordinary against him.

who said sartison was a lockett type fighter ?

those very few of us that had seen sartison before he fought kessler said he was a skilled and naturally flowing fighter .

bute is the new king now at 168, but still with a questionable king. He needs to fight kessler, froch. Calzaghe on the other hand is looking for a good payday then should fight taylor instead
