Boxing at the Summer Games of the XXXII Olympiad, Tokyo

UFC was decent. Lewis got schooled by a vastly superior striker. Landing a dismal 3 strikes to his opponents 93, pure comedy gold because casuals and some MMA pundits actually predicted he would win. Aldo looked solid. Rare high level MMA striking was in abundance on this card.

Burning the midnight oils which I don't usually do anymore for fights, so I'll catch these.

What a performance from Harrington.

I thought she didn't look as good coming through as the Brazilian but she pulled out her best form at the right time.

Footwork was on point.

Keyshawn should be damn proud of himself. He had a tough run to the gold medal match and was taking on who several lists said was the p4p1 amatuer fighter coming into these games.
He ran him closer than others who faced the Cubans in the final.

Right man got the nod no doubt.

Cuba have done brilliant these games. They have shown throughout the changes that have gone on in amateur boxing in the last 30 years they can still produce boxers that can win medals.
