Eubank. Fought in three different divisions against much bigger men and never got stopped. Chavez isn't in the same league as Chris.
Chris Eubank Snr- The Carl Thompson fight is why I have the best chins at MW roughly like this. James Toney - - Chris Eubank snr _ - Jakey LaMotta - Marvellous Hagler Those spaces are on purpose, I think Toneys chin is that much better.
Could you imagine Canelo surviving Sam Peters or Rahman? A great defence and reflexes helps but he really took some hard shots from, much, much, much bigger fighters who hit hard for there division.
You do know that he was stopped by the doctor because of his left eye was swollen closed. Eubank was leading on all three scorecards at the time of the stoppage.
I've glanced the results. I suspect that Chavez is being picked on name alone and not on actual chin demonstrated p4p in context of the natural size given up in the ring. Of course, JCC had a legendary chin but his chin is one of the things that Eubank had that was really elite. Eubank survived bombs from Benn and Thompson. As mentioned by @Woller stopped for eye swelling and lack of vision rather than any failure of his chin versus Thompson. If anything, his chin was too good and if he beats Thompson to a decision, his ego takes him into deep waters in subsequent fights that put his health at greater risk.
Okay, I get you point. I saw it as a question of the best chin, and Eubank was stopped on eye damage and not because of heavy head shots that he could not take.
