Depends what your goals are. If you want to develop muscle, strength and the increased neural efficiency which translates to sports then weights should be prioritized. If you just want to be lean and develop a strong core than calisthenics are fine.

Depends entirely what your goals are.

Deadlifting won't progress you to doing a planche, and learning to planche won't improve your deadlift (well, maybe a few %).

Sounds like typical completely uneducated pseudoscience anecdotes from dinosaur trainers.

100 kg wow good stuff. What about 300 reps of Burpees. I am telling you it's not called burpees for nothing.I got to 200 max and felt like puking lol.

Not done burpees in a while and definitely not 300 lol.

Last time I did them was probably about a year ago when I did the "Riley" WOD which consists of 1.5 mile run, 150 Burpees and then another 1.5 mile run. I don't mind burpees to be honest they're not an exercise that fills me with dread but 300 might be a bit much, lol.

I mix it up TBF...but prefer weights...what am I doing bodyweight wise that will be as good as a barbell squat or deadlift?

I do love weighted pull ups and dips though

Doesn't matter how easy or how hard though, still needs training to achieve imo

do anything boxing, jumprope, sprint intervals on bikes or running. Abs core. legs Stay away from any strength training. Ok to do stregth training on legs but back off 10 weeks before a fight and start doing more sprint intervals. I dont even like swimming. It tightens and builds muscles you dont use when boxing.
