Ruiz Jr should comfortably win here from activity alone. However, he needs to be careful to not come in too light as it does appear it has hindered his punch resistance.
Whyte has a poor chin?!? He's a limited boxer and has gassed to the point he's taken an easy knockdown or been knocked out by a big shot (povetkin). Being knocked down and fighting on isnt uncommon in boxing and doesn't necessarily mean bad chin? Ruiz got knocked down by areola, furys been down numerous times against average opposition. However, very few heavyweights would have withstood the 12 rounds of big shots he took in chisora 1
I see a lot of talk and posturing but no real effort for Ruiz/Whyte to be made. Whyte was meant to be fighting Franklin that was their main target for a while. Ruiz was set to fight Ortiz after Arreola but then Ruiz calls out Whyte and so does Martin. Whyte and Hearn say Franklin is their choice but then recently change their mind and target Ruiz or Arreola. So Ruiz says he wants it, Whyte says he wants it but we've got all this side talk of Whyte/Arreola and Ruiz/Martin which lets be honest is what will most likely happen. If that happens maybe Ortiz/Martin could happen, Walk like a God vs So old will soon meet God. Probably won't happen, Ortiz will fight some scrub, Martin will just remained sidelined until he's given another easy eliminator to become mandatory. Christ heavyweight sucks right now.
