Yeah, it’s weird. Before the fight was halfway over Brook’s corner had to stop the fight due to Kell having suffered a career altering / ending beating…after having hit Golovkin with his best punches to zero effect. Do the same people think that Hearns laid the blueprint on how to beat Hagler because he drew blood on Marvin? Or think that Tito showed how to beat Hopkins because he made it to the 12th round?
Paul Williams was a good fighter out of the southpaw stance, so he can do well for a good portion of the fight imo, but in the end, GGG in his prime would be too strong and would have got to him in the end. It would have been a stoppage win for Golovkin most likely.
