British Olympians

Hearn loves an Olympian so I reckon he’ll probably take the McCormack brothers (be stupid to only take one) and probably Yafai and one other (maybe Lauren Price.) I really see Frazier Clarke with Warren for some reason, he loves a heavy and Frazier’s upside in the pros is very limited, but if Warren can have a few domestic clashes between him and big Dave, Joyce and Dubois it’ll pay for itself.

 

Yafai is nearly 29 which is very old to be turning pro for a flyweight. As Paddy Barnes found out.

Cheavon Clarke is nearly 31. Frazer Clarke is 30

I think those three have left it too late for proper success in the pro ranks.

 

Although Yafai is 29, he still has a lot to offer in the pro game and can easily see him winning domestic and European titles. Let's not forget Joe Joyce turned pro very late, after Olympic success.

 

Can’t compare a Heavyweight to a Flyweight though.

 

Hearn really likes Fraser and has said multiple times that he has a lot of time for him. Fairly certain he will turn over with matchroom unless they get outbid

 

Galal looks to have the attribute to be pro to me. Barnes was too small and didn’t have the power.

Ben Whittaker is on Soccer AM today. I've been told that an announcement regarding that he has signed to 258Mgt, Matchroom and a potential fight date is imminent, potentially today on the DAZN show.

 

I've also just been told that Ben Whittaker will be making his debut on the Joshua Usyk undercard.
