Fights that had mostly close rounds but on your final scorecard were not close at all ??

For me James Toney - Mike McCallum 2 is one there were no one sided rounds but I couldn't give Mike more than 4 rounds maximum and with the points deduction I side with the two judges who had Toney I think a winner by 8 points

    De La Hoya - Mayweather.
The last time I scored it I'm pretty sure I had it at something like 9-3 for Mayweather

The one people don’t like to hear is Norton vs Holmes.

I know a lot of people who had Larry solidly winning. Including me. The first six rounds to me were all Larry, with Norton mostly looking pretty bad.

I think Ken took the middle rounds, but even at the end Holmes was mostly looking really good. He took some heavy shots, and Kenny moved forward constantly. But Holmes simply looked....what's the word....deft. He only lost his confidence toward the middle, for most of the fight I thought he looked like the defending champ.

Still, amazing fight, and Norton imo never looked more impressive in terms of heart, tenacity, and courage.

I had Larry ahead by three points.

I'm still scratching my head at Lewis vs Holyfield 1. Fight was scored a draw but I don't think Holyfiled won any more than 3 or 4 rounds from my recollection.

3 rounds for Holy and 1 even coming from the guy who thought for over a year that Holy had won.

Marcel vs Shibata and Antonio Gomez first time around. The Shibata draw was a robbery and the first Gomez fight I don't think I gave Gomez more than three or four rounds but it was still only a MD for Marcel.

Canto-Gonzalez III and Oguma II and III. I thought Canto won all three going away tbh, though it's been a long time since I saw the Oguma fights. Them being in Venezuela and Japan though typically made the cards closer than was warranted. I've redeveloped a very deep, fresh respect for Canto in recent months not felt since I first watched him in around 2001/2. A truly great, great fighter.

Louis-Farr. Arthur Donovans 13-1 card was an insult to Tommy but the perception that it was a close fight seems to have lingered in quite a few quarters, especially with the anti-Louis brigade.

Completely agree. I had Marcel winning 146-140 against Shibata and I think Gomez barely won a round. Me and @scartissue were discussing that one only yesterday in the scorecard thread.

Another is Pryor - Arguello 1 before the stoppage 14 close rounds, neither fighter taking full control or dictating the pace but on my scorecard I had Pryor's workrate just nicking the majority the of rounds don't think I gave Arguello more than 4 rounds

Ali vs Norton 3, maybe I score fights differently but I had Ali leading by a good amount. I never got it since people always made it out to be a absolute destruction of Ali, always felt a little guilty about sharing my card because it’s hard to share when every single reply is “Norton won though lol” without anything else. Maybe i’ll rescore soon.

Errol Spence vs Shawn Porter. I had Spence winning the fight clearly - even without the knockdown. I scored it 117-111. Porter was rough & made it tough in spots, but Spence was much more efficient & accurate with his punches. Don't know how it was scored a SD.

Manny Pacquiao vs Juan Manuel Marquez II
I had Pacquiao winning 7-8 rounds pretty clearly. The KD also helped widen his effectiveness. I also had him winning the 1st fight fairly clearly but it was closer than the 2nd.
