If Joshua boxed like he did in the Ruiz rematch then he’d win a decision.

Old Foreman might be one of the most overrated fighters in history. Its impressive what he did at that age, but if you look at the resume hes about a prime Bonecrusher Smith level of fighter.

Bonecrusher Smith couldn't beat Moorer at 40 , Foreman slept him at 45.

When Bonecrusha was 41 he was getting ironed out by the likes of Brian Neilson and Lionel Butler , guys old Foreman would have split in half at the same age. That evidence of the difference there is between Foreman and Smith.

Prime Smith couldn't even beat Marvis Frazier. Louis Rodriguez was better than him. A 3 round KO victim of Foreman.

Its impressive in how he beat his opponents , such as running a terrified Cooper of the ring . Nobody ever did that to Burt. Foreman II was a brute force tactician with a great jab. Only opponents with a specific toolbox could beat him

I said "prime" Smith, I didnt say he was as good as George in his 40s. List their 5 best wins, its comparable. Fact is if comeback George was some no name fighter in his 20s, the record wouldn't be all that impressive.

My heart would be with George but if Tommy Morrison could out box old George than so could Joshua. Then again, George could KO Joshua with either hand. It could go either way to be honest.

George Foreman is really not as strong as you think- AJ has video'd proof repping out heavy iron on the other hand George has a suspect picture with a calf. He doesn't possess the chin Foreman that's true, but he posses a fair bit of size, twice the boxing ability, speed and combination punching to make up for it.

AJ looks aesthetically great with great definition.

I’m sure that he’s great in the gym, repping out etc.

Why wasn’t George as strong as I think?

George’s strength is legendary within the sport.

I’ll take George from what I’ve seen and heard throughout the years.

He was chopping down trees and pulling cars and jeeps in his comeback when he was in his 40’s.

I don’t think AJ has twice the boxing ability of George.

He also has stamina issues and can lose composure when tagged.

It’s a big call saying that AJ would have beaten him both easily and early.

There is gym strength, and then there is functional strength.

    Two very different animals.

Foreman and Jeffries, were very strong on functional strength.

You don't get to AJs size by lifting light weights, Pulling a jeep is an easy feat even the lowest level strongman could perform that trick.
George was a relatively big guy, but his strength is overstated, when has he ever shown he was strong to you? Pushing and shoving around smaller guys?

That's literally a myth. Shane Mosley is stronger then Joe Frazier but because Joe Frazier has 40 odd lbs on Shane of course he would boss him around in the ring. If you take two men of equal size, stature, build ect. Have one do push ups, chop wood and run a lot whatever you want then have the other abuse steroids and put up even Eh powerlifting numbers 230kg DL 180KG Squat and a 140kg Bench press. The weightlifter will ragdoll your "Functorial" Athlete. Friends of mine have done Ji Jitsu a lot of there life and all of them lift now after bad experiences with "Unfunctional strength" they all brought into chopping wood ect and avoiding weights for there sport (They did kickboxing too) until they found themselves being tossed around by untrained weightlifters and rugby players.

You’ve already been told that gym strength is different.

I personally know of people who rep out at the gym who have great definition.

Body builders look great aesthetically. They lift heavy weights. Yet they couldn’t compete with powerlifters and strongmen etc. It’s just a different kind of strength, as already stated.

Pulling cars and jeeps in your 40’s is easy?

    Really?

Foreman wasn’t a professional strongman. He was a boxer. How many boxers pull/have pulled jeeps and cars etc?

George has a huge reputation for being strong.

    Go and do some research.

    It’s renowned.

Why do you think that AJ is stronger?

AJ has done nothing for you to have favoured him over George in just 3 rounds.

This is exactly correct. Foreman was a strong as anyone ever at heavyweight and was next to impossible to move backwards. Joshua may have the biceps but is not built like Foreman through the legs.

There are just certain guys that have natural strength and power and that was Foreman.

Lol at all of this. "Gym" Strength is just strength. Strong is strong don't kid yourself.
I imagine tons of boxers could do more then pull a jeep lol.

I think AJ is stronger, because look at AJ lift, look how big AJ is and lets not forget the chemical benefit.
