Why haven’t we gotten a statement from any of Spence’s doctors?

Seems rather the obvious thing to do considering that the fight was almost sold out, plane tickets purchased, hotels booked, you pulled out 11 days before the fight, and oh, there's a legendary name in sport saying he's suspicious of your injury.

It's very simple. Spence can authorize the surgeon to speak publicly and release details. We hear about athletes undergoing surgery all the time along with statements from the doctor about what was done, timelines for recovery, and when they can expect to be in action again. Literally happens ALL THE TIME in sports.

But I'm guessing he got Lasik.

 

Don't forget that masked pic that someone posted that could've been anyone that had a bandage on one eye. That's pretty indisputable proof.

 

Agreed! He's basically leaving the fans defending him, out to hang. At this point, there really isn't a good excuse not to have a doctor come out, support the claims and put all this arguing between haters and fans at rest.

 

For what? Spence haters have their minds already made up. He could have the surgeon general of the US come out and say it and they would just say he was paid off or it's fake. I wouldn't give them ****.

 

Breaking News: Doctor Jermell Charlo is going to do a press conference today to address the Spence eye injury situation.

 

It makes no sense that Spence would duck this fight. It was a huge payday and he was a clear favorite. No one ducks Pac; fighting him pays too well.

Like your spunk. And you are probably right. Haters will hate regardless. For me, I would like a doctor to come out. At least it gives the Spence supporters something to use in Spence's defense.

Spence is not dumb. He knows what people are saying. He can quiet all the rumors easily. They're coming up with a damage control plan at the moment most likely.
