Does anyone think the result would be that much different if both were the same size during their primes?

 

Nope. Any version of Loma destroys any version of Rigo. Loma agreed to a hydration clause and is essentially a 126lb fighter anyway. The size difference between these two is much less than the size difference between Loma and Teo Lopez or Loma Nakatani. He didn’t even try to push him around or bully Rigo. He chose to beat him with technical boxing and it was a complete mismatch. Rigo had a reach advantage but couldn’t do anything against Loma.

That was one of the most humiliating losses I’ve ever seen. Much worse than a KO but Loma outboxed this guy so thoroughly, Rigo faked injury and quit like a coward. Somehow he hurt his hand even though he didn’t land one solid punch the whole fight.

 

Love watching that fight. Loma totally owned Rigo. It wasn't even close the difference in skill level was dramatic. Loma so much more the better technician. Total humiliation.

Loma looked a lot better v Lopez than Salido would have.

 

I think rigo don't respect loma's power he never run against loma he just stand and make loma miss but against casimero he run from round 2 to 12.

 

He was dipping below Loma`s waist meaning Loma hasd no legal target to punch, he was completely out of his depth.

 

Rigo had no business in the ring with Loma. He was already dwarfed at that weight by Loma. There's a reason why Loma didn't even really take pride in the win and dismissed it, which was a classy move by loma. Anyone with sense knew Loma was going to have his way with Rigo.

 

Lots of people were saying Rigo was gonna win or at least be a stiff test. I myself thought it wouldn't be that easy, because Rigo is fast and crafty.
