I think he’s more pissed off about how badly he got embarrassed that night. Getting beat like that by someone who looks like butterbean would probably **** a lot of people off for years. It doesn’t help that he’s constantly teased on social media for it
I think both Wlad and Ruiz took a piece of his soul and damaged him physically, mentally and emotionally.
We still haven't seen Joshua in action against even a B level operator since Ruiz made him quit. Remains to be seen if he will unravel again against serious competition.

After getting his cherry popped against Wlad and being humbled by Ruiz, Joshua isn’t the same fighter. He doesn’t have the same confidence in his abilities or swagger and is terrified of getting his jaw cracked again. Even against Pulev, a fight that was completely one-sided, Joshua panicked whenever Pulev mounted any sort of offensive.
Now now come on yh Ruiz totally pulled femmi's pants down in that first fight. Think part of that was AJ under estimating Ruiz's hands on the inside, thought he'd already won and got cocky dropped his hands and the rest is history. Not totally blaming his last opponents on femmi how many fights that should of been made two years ago are we still waiting on. Think AG is still there want to see the big nights before there all aged. There's already a new crop of decent up comer's waiting in the wings. Promotors are the problem milk milk milk
AJ has lost his confidence He doesnt trust his chin Very twitchy when Pulev got close. will pull out, hesitate or clinch badly whereas before he'd let bombs fly and finish the job. When he faces a bigger man who can pick him apart from every angle he will fold badly. hell start crying like oliver mccall and have a breakdown in the fight. Bully mentality like Wilder, cant handle it when he gets it put on him large.
Ok yh I'll give you that one he definitely looks like his worried about taking one square on the chin. Certainly not got the Joyce granite. But he is better at not getting tagged repeatably
The levels to which you guys go to make AJ look bad, is ridiculous. He hasn't lost since that fight and he beat Ruiz in the rematch. Including Usyk, it'll be 3 top ten heavyweights he's fought since that fight. But you guys will keep hanging your hats on that Ruiz fight forever haha.
I don't think it's brain damage, but he needs therapy, he's ruined mentally. Imagine being tall jacked superchampion who is considered unbeatable by his casual fanbase (probably thought so himself too) and then getting pummelled from pillar to post by an obese midget. He probably has PTSD.
