    Good Moment - Bobby Chacon knocking down Bazooka Limon with 15 seconds left in the 15 round of the eventual 1982 Ring Magazine Fight of the Year. It was a great fight between two warriors and that put a great cap on it.

    Left a sour taste in my mouth. A guy won a fight based on rounds where he barely landed a punch while the guy who won almost every round with any action lost the fight.

    I was in a large bar loaded full of Samoans for the Tua - Moorer fight

    When Tua knocked him out inside 1 minute the whole bar broke into loud chanting - "TUA TUA"

    Pac-ODLH. I remember the genuine fear for PAC’s life.

    This is why I think it’s important that people have context about the feel of fights, rather than just reading about Charles burley on Wikipedia.

    Pac was a BW who moves up to FW, boxing journalists thought his power had waned at 130 and his power was way more devastating at 122/126. 130 was already too big for him. They tested the waters at 135 to see how he would do. He did great against a tailor-made fighter, but this was really still a 130lb fighter who boxing people thought was already the upper limits of his weight.

    Then he becomes a replacement for Floyd to fight ODLH at 147. It’s really a 130lb fight vs a huge 147 fighter who just took Floyd to an SD less than a year before.

    Then he annihilates him in the most shocking performance of his life, more so than Ledwaba or MAB. Through the fight I was thinking Pac was 1 left hook away from getting ktfo.

    Of course the excuses came after, but they lack context. It’s all hindsight, they didn’t live the present.

    Being ringside as Tua destroyed Cameron was a very memorable moment for me. So many people thought Tua was finished and Cameron would walk through him

    When Loma casually harvested Rigo's soul without even moving out of first gear. It was a historic day as it was his fourth No Mas in a row something which no boxer has even come close to achieving even down at tomato can level. But not only did Loma manage to do so he did it against four world class fighters, four different styles, three of whom were former or current world champions, two undefeated both of whom were excellent fighters. He made four world class fighters quit back to back through nothing but the application of pure skill, technical brilliance, and physical and psychological humiliation.

    He literally toyed with four world class fighters back to back like they were nothing and bamboozled and humiliated them so badly he made those warriors say I do not want anymore despite none of them ever having previously displayed an ounce of quit in them before (quite the opposite in fact) and they were never the same after he harvested their souls.

    I had an epiphany the very instance he made a maestro like Rigo meekly capitulate in his own corner and it was at that very moment I knew that the boxing gods were smiling down at me from their holy temple in joint admiration at Loma's wizardry.

    FTR, I have no shame in admitting that I'm literally weeping uncontrollably as I write this
