I think it all comes down to it being a Hall of FAME. I'm okay with various guys who provided me some great entertainment value on TV but who aren't ATGs being in. They're famous, they sacrificed, let 'em in.
So fighting Ortiz means more than what he's done already? Ortiz is a myth. Wilder is the most overrated HW of the last 30 years. Tyson simply CANNOT handle being a champ, but struggles with nobodies like Wallin. Who has he beaten besides Wilder recently? His Wlad win is years back now.
I never said Wilder's resume was any better than Aj's, i agree, he is overrated and IMO he stands alone as the worst champion in the history of boxing, since other than Ortiz, 90% of his title defense were made against unranked fighter. That's it.

Second look at the rest of his resume a devastating loss to a hype Job (Lang) and he barely won in the rematch. His one “great” win over Drago was against a debuting fighter whose claim to fame was killing a shot fighter. Sly won the title from an end of the road Apollo with no legs... even then I had Creed winning till the stoppage and the first fight he lost a lot worse then people who’ve only seen highlights make out. You’re right if you are talking about actual boxing achievement in the ring but it is the Hall of Fame and who is more popular and more famous than Rocky Balboa and the Rocky series of films?
AJ best the best contenders of his era, the best champ of the last era in Wlad, and the other two don't want to know. Tyson's team just messed AJ around, and Wilder declined the biggest pay day ever against AJ for $3m in his next fight! AJ will fight anyone, its the other two who won't fight him.
