Pac vs Marquez 4 was a very good fight with what maybe the best finishing shot of the past 20 years.

That’s one way to avoid posting proof. Now, Go ahead and show it then. Either way, his face was busted up pretty bad in the second. For someone who was supposedly loading his gloves before, how was Margarito able to cause so much facial damage in the rematch?

Because he landed punches. Are you stupid? Your logic Cotto's face was bruised in both fights so Margo didn't use loaded gloves is ignorant. He got suspended for loaded gloves. I don't need to show you proof. His suspension is common knowledge. If you think Cotto was wrongfully accused and punished, that's your problem. I, on the other hand, believe he used loaded gloves because of the events during the Mosely fight. Nothing more to argue about.

So he landed punches is why he got busted up? Great. Now apply that to the first fight. 267 punches landed by AM in 2008. 157 landed by AM in 2011.

157 punches did this with his hands being wrapped being watched by everyone who could possibly see them. https://i.ytimg.com/vi/J3zMHhxsOaU/maxresdefault.jpg.
If his hands were wrapped with plaster or concrete in the first fight like so many illogical people love to state, Cotto would have probably died seeing as how he got hit over 100 times more.
Anyone who really used loaded gloves would be banned for life.

Can anyone explain how Margarito loaded his gloves with plaster but nobody before Richardson caught it?

Probably going far back to the beginning maybe Hamed losing to Barrera that is probably the biggest fight I can remember from that far back

Either that or Marquez vs Pacquiao I

You may be correct that Margarito didn't use plaster in the first Cotto fight, but he did try in the Mosley fight. Which raises suspicion in all fights prior to his getting caught. Just like Mosley 's performance is suspicious because he popped dirty in the past. Understand? Both Mosley and Margarito are cheats. They deserve every bit of doubt and criticism the fans have to give.

I haven't looked through the thread yet. Not one of the fondest memories, but one of my first memories that just stays with you forever. The second Chris Eubank vs Michael Watson fight.

Oh I get it. But when you look at the actual data, without emotion, you can clearly see with the numbers provided what would have happened if AM was loading gloves against Cotto. 100 less punches in the second fight did this.

Then you factor in that he was allowed to fight again, it tells me that the CSAC really ****ed up.

I thought Hatton would be a tough fight for Pac (so did a lot of people here). I was shocked when Pac blew him away.

When that guy parachuted into Holyfield vs Bowe II.

I was watching it live on ITV in the early hours of the morning.

A TOTALLY bizarre experience, never to be forgotten.

    Not necessarily.
Remember. Marg got suspended for the Mosley fight, not the Cotto fight. Again, he may not have used loaded gloves when he fought Cotto. So, to your point, the damage to Cotto in both fight could be similar. The fact he did not get a life ban may be because he never got caught actually using loaded gloves in a fight, unlike Resto did.

Marquez landing that howlitzer on Pacquiao was a great WTF moment.

Ruiz climbing off the canvas and opening a can of whoop ass on AJ

Lennox Lewis beautiful 1-2 knockout of Hasim Rahman in their rematch.

Hatton getting put to bed by Pac-man

Danny Garcia being outboxed before landing his Hiroshima left hook on Khan and then chasing him around the ring.

Canelo shattering Saunders’ eye/cheek and then rallying his 80.000 fans while beating the **** out of him.

    many, many more.

Douglas KO10 Tyson in February of 1990. I was in the 10th grade. I remember I was making a peanut butter and jelly sandwich... apple cinnamon jelly. My Dad said, "hurry up, the fight is getting ready to start it will probably be over before you get done making that sandwich". Well, after a few rounds we were both like, "Tyson might lose this fight, look at Holyfield getting worried". It was awesome.

Holyfield KO11 Tyson in November of 1996. I actually picked Holyfield by KO (Round 6), most people thought I was crazy. I had always picked him over Tyson (post-Douglas) and wasn't going to changed my mind after saying Holyfield would have stopped Tyson for 5 years.

    Ward W10 Gatti
Not many people thought Ward would win but most knew it would be a war. I was part of a few boxing forums at the time and we constantly begged for their fight to be made. I was a long-time Ward fan and grew up with one of his nephews... his father married one of Ward's sisters after my friend's parents got divorced. Anyway, I had followed him for a long-time, even during his 4 fight losing streak.
